- I take a look at one of the biggest surprises of the year. The Daytona Maverick 500 (Macbor Montana XR5) is a Chinese made bike that maintains the price of a Chinese bike but with build quality to rival Japanese and European bikes. And if that wasn't enough it comes as standard with features that you simply can't find on other 500cc class small adventure bikes. With an on the road price of just 6200€ it's a bike worth considering if it is available in your local market, you owe it to yourself to take it out on a test ride before you buy anything and you are looking for a small adventure bike.
In this second video I take it out on the road and see what it's capable of. A very impressive machine that surprises with just how easy it is to ride and how well built it feels.

The only thing I would say is next time take it on the highway to advise of wind buffeting and to identify any buzzing feeling in the seat pegs and handle bars, otherwise than that good review and a truly exceptional spec for the price. God bless and keep up the good work.
I had limited time with it unfortunately but maybe this summer I can get more seat time in the Maverick

Im a french living in the Philippines and just acquired a 500 Bristol similar to your bike but different name...
Since day one is impossible to ride smoothly, every change of gear my engine is draging... in slow speed...
Do you know if someone encounters these problems in your country and, if so, how they remedy it.. tks for your comments...

Depends what's wrong with you 750. But if you want a new bike it's a great option.
Salut ! Eu sunt in cautarea unei noi motociclete. Am o Honda Dominator, primul motor, probabil o sa fac in jur de 8000 km cu ea. Ma gandeam sa o schimb. F650GS dakar, 1150 gs, F800gs le-am luat in calcul. Acum RVM-ul asta. Sau daca fac rost de bani MT800 CFmoto cred cave best value for money (dar putin peste buget). Intre Jawa si F800GS 2008 ce ai recomanda ? Lucrul nou chinezesc in garantie sau bemveu cu 50k+ km la bord....Ma tot gandesc....as lua 1150-ul, dar nu cred ca as putea trai cu un boxer de 230 kg (pentru strecurat prin trafic) zilnic.
1150 de strecurat in trafic clar nu, am un 1100 si da te descurci cu el in trafic dar e departe de a fi optim. Iar intre Jawa si F800GS as merge me Jawa, nu de alta dar este motor si cutie de Honda deci de ce nu. Plus ca desi nu e rau BMW-ul 15 ani sunt 15 ani, indiferent cat de calitative e furutune si garnituri sunt facute din cauciuc iar timpul nu iarta cauciucul.

I didn't take it out on a long distance trip, but a colleague did and he said you can cruise comfortably at 100-110.

I believe this is a Philippine Bike than a Chinese Bike. Assembled in the Philippines under Bristol brand.
By the VIN it has on it, it's assembled in China

I really love the bike and you ride it. As a beginner can be an excellent first all rounder!!! Unfortunatly they are not yet in Serbia, don't know how to get one!? Regards anr ride safe ✌️
Ask your local Sym dealer, as far as I know Gorgolis S. A. from Greece is the supplier for SYM Serbia and Gorgolis also imports the Maverick

Salut, joymax-ul Z+ este sosit în showroom iar în măsura timpului disponibil voi face un comparativ între joymax și cruisym. Ele sunt foarte asemănătoare dar exista mici diferențe pe care doresc sa le evidentiez

It's comfortable, it's just soft enough to be comfortable and supportive at the same time. I didn't have any complaint about the comfort. It was very good.
@@RideWithAlex Actually I'm concerned about comfort when I'm with my wife, because the two of us will give a load of about 200kg including the contents of the pannier, can the suspension and seats work properly? and whether the suspension can be adjusted at the front and rear? Thx alex for aswering me
@@indrafaisal7390 The seat will be fine, and the suspension is adjustable both the rear shock and the front fork. As it was setup now I actually thought it was a bit too hard, I would have made it softer. For sure you can find a setting that works for you and your wife no problem.

Salut, momentan nu mai avem nici o unitate în showroom. La început de septembrie ar trebui sa primim 2 unități dar posibil sa mai întârzie pana spre sfârșitul lui septembrie.

@@Kanutza Cele 2 care vin nu sunt inca rezervate de nimeni. Daca situatia ramane asa pana cand ajung in showroom atunci primul venit primul servit.
