I love how I can watch all those interviews and instantly recognize their body language as their characters, it's like they're being 90% themselves when playing them
Skyler is currently my favorite female character on screen, TV and movies included. She is the only woman who is not over sexualized like many of the lead or supporting women on screen TV. She follows her own moral compass and does what she thinks is best for her and her family
I absolutely love breaking bad and it saddens me to see the amount of hate that Skyler receives in the media just because she stands up to her husband when she feels he is crossing the line morally or putting his family in danger or ruining the very livelihood of the family. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Walter - but anyone with complex emotions and intelligence can understand that Skyler is a true representation of what a woman, mother, spouse really is and should be.
What the hell? what is all this hate on Skylar about? She's the only sane one on the show! yeah, she goes a bit off the deep end in season 5 but she's a FANTASTIC character. Come on guys what show are you watching?
No but actually could someone please explain why anyone would hate skylar.
of flaky women. Her character never appears to be shallow or stupid or naive. She is beautiful but doesn't make a living by selling sex like most women celebs. Her character is portrayed as a true equal to her husband, she keeps him in check when he puts her down or gets too carried and away and vice versa - though that doesn't occur often. It's so refreshing to see a female who is an EQUAL to the males on screen in intelligence, complexity of personality, emotions, practicality, etc.
She's smart. Here reactions to walt are completely understandable to me as Walt's life is basically a fucking warzone that she and her kids could be pulled into at any moment. Her husband has transformed into an arrogant, murderous meth pusher (LOVE his character though don't get me wrong). her 'drama' is valid. what's she supposed to do? be ok with that? Secondly, she and walt were SEPARATED when she slept with ted. I think we're just going to have to agree to disagree on this one.

Hate the Character... Actress Got less hot.. And Absolutely hate hyer Character EVEN more.. She doesnt not belong on that part of the show... When he moved out I thought they were slowly cutting that character out. And I was pretty happy about it.
