What I LOVE about your channel is that you are one of the few, or maybe the only, flight reviewer who travels most of the time in economy. It really irritates me how many reviewers rarely, if ever, travel in anything but business class or the equivalent. It seems like they just fly around the world in luxury paid for by their YT profits and make videos which are pretty irrelevant to over 90% of travellers. So well done to you.

DL's product on longer domestic flights, such as those to/from Hawaii, are actually quite good. You get the same amenity kit as on this flight and similar main meal service minus the ice cream, and as many snacks and beverages you want in the rear galley. I did ATL-HNL recently on the A350, and was very impressed. Best service to/from the islands, hands down.

There should have been an appetizer choice. (I work for them). We’ve temporarily abandoned the service and are back to preset trays; however, the service was bistro style dining. Where the guest chose their appetizer and main course. It was served with bread and butter. Dessert was supposed to be a separate course but guests wanted to get to sleep sooner so it was incorporated into the main delivery. The biggest complaint was a lack of a pre meal beverage service.

This aircraft now belongs to Air India fleet as of VT-AEF. They still have the cabin.

Really nice vid, Delta is definitely the best US airline. You are the best trip reporter on youtube! I love watching your vids. I was hoping if you could review vistaras 787 economy class on a flight between london and india!!

Because it's a late departure (after 9pm) appetizer is not avail on the plate and service goes straight into main meal and ice cream all in the plate. instead of (before 9pm, hot meal and appetizer and salad on plate, then ice cream with another round of drinks)

Seat , service looks great for economy class. Unfortunately that DL no more service route to Thailand for many years. Hope they come back soon.

Have done LAX to Auckland on the 777 and SFO to SYD on the 747 on Air New Zealand. Awesome service on Air New Zealand. Conversely, also had the absolute displeasure of flying United SFO to SYD round trip. As usual, United provided a horrible experience.
