What I LOVE about your channel is that you are one of the few, or maybe the only, flight reviewer who travels most of the time in economy. It really irritates me how many reviewers rarely, if ever, travel in anything but business class or the equivalent. It seems like they just fly around the world in luxury paid for by their YT profits and make videos which are pretty irrelevant to over 90% of travellers. So well done to you.
DL's product on longer domestic flights, such as those to/from Hawaii, are actually quite good. You get the same amenity kit as on this flight and similar main meal service minus the ice cream, and as many snacks and beverages you want in the rear galley. I did ATL-HNL recently on the A350, and was very impressed. Best service to/from the islands, hands down.
Ahh...pre-COVID where seats were completely filled without a mask. Feels like so long ago. Great video. I can't imagine what I'd do if I had to sit in a seat for 14 long hours.
I love watching tripreports about long haul flights operated by big planes. Simply Aviation, you make the best tripreports on RUclips. No music, great editing, great shooting, subtitles - that’s why the quality of your videos is very high. Keep up the good work 😀👍✈️
Great video , with Delta retiring its 777 fleet and the 757's and the 767's aren't to far from being retired it seems like they are slowly transitioning into becoming an all Airbus fleet.
For me DL is one of the best airlines in the world! I really love the service and we can pay a good price for it. I hope to have a long haul flight again soon!
There should have been an appetizer choice. (I work for them). We’ve temporarily abandoned the service and are back to preset trays; however, the service was bistro style dining. Where the guest chose their appetizer and main course. It was served with bread and butter. Dessert was supposed to be a separate course but guests wanted to get to sleep sooner so it was incorporated into the main delivery. The biggest complaint was a lack of a pre meal beverage service.
Only applicable to the United States where you have the B777-323ERand B777-322/ER in operation. For 200lr fans in the United States if you want one you might as well cross the northern border into Canada where it's still used.
Great video as always. After watching this, i think i will take a hand luggage and go to the airport and pretend i am flying out somewhere even if i am not flying anywhere....lol.
Omg I miss Sydney I did in fact go to Sydney and looking at the airport again makes me feel so nostalgic , I went there two years ago and I must say that Australia and the Australian s are the best
You are correct but in the case of ATL-ICN this B777-232/LR DL27🇺🇲 loses to a B777-3B5/ER KE036🇰🇷. Later in the day in South Korea the B777-3B5/ER that did KE036 will then go to CEB KE615/616 or MNL KE623/624. These two routes beat another version of the same airplane a B777-3F6/ER🇵🇭.
I found your channel today and it’s amazing thx for doing economy reviews also because you are the only few people who makes economy class videos also thx for making them
Love your reviews , best by far of any av channel. No tacky music, or me me me selfies and commentary. Just an excellent review of what any of us would experience. Appreciated.
Whenever Australia decides to open up to the world again, it's going to be a Delta A350 or a Qantas 787 for me (or maybe Hawaiian when they get their Dreamliners!). I never got to fly the Delta 777, looks like I missed a great experience!
Amazing again! I have a question concerning turbulence: you guys fly so much that I'm sure you've experienced turbulence multiple times. I'm terrified of it, to a point where I get anxious weeks before my flight. I was wondering how you felt about turbulence, how you cope with it, what your habits are during turbulence?
It scares me a bit as well, but on my last flights I just looked outside the window, the view above the clouds can be beautiful and is a great distraction to me :) by the way, if you have the chance to choose your own seat, go for one around the wings. And last but not least, try to keep in mind that turbulence is not dangerous.
Back in the day when Australia wasn't a fucking prison and you could enter the US as a European. Good times. Loved this report David, awesome as always.
Omg this catering is just crazy. Dinner: four cheese ravioli 🧀 Snack: cheese in plastic wrap 🧀, cheez it chips 🧀 Warm snack: Pizza twist with mushroom and cheese 🧀 Breakfast: muffin with egg and cheese 🧀 Probably if you ask flight attendant to make a picture for you they also say 🧀.
Hello Simply Aviation! Great video as always! On 14 October you will be on the last Alitalia flight, right? And please, document one of the first flights of ITA - Italia Trasporto Aereo! ;)

Now they operate their LAX-SYD route with an Airbus A350-941
