Thanks for the video. my 4 year old daughter uses the m12 to help me clean the backyard. it’s a little heavy for her but she’ll grow into it 😂🧰 she’s happy she can help now 👍
Just bought this last week from Home Depot it wasn't even out on the shelves yet, it was about three pallets up in a no home I spotted it I keep lowering my truck for cleaning up small areas at job sites or blowing off a sidewalk or part of a driveway, also works great to blow the dirt and dust out of your truck when you're on job sites
I bought this and have been comparing to the 20v DeWalt DCB-100, which is essentially identical to the Milwaukee 18v 0884 blower (I owned them at the same time for a while). For my uses, which are shop and tool cleanup and "drying" vehicles, the M12 blower seriously underperforms the 18v spot blower. On basically any vehicle surface (horizontal, vertical and wheels/tires) the M12 left a lot more sawdust or water than the 18v/20v spot blower. The only thing I wondered about that would favor the M12 blower was wondering how much water I wind up blowing INTO doors or other cavities in the vehicle with the spot blowers that didn't happen with the M12 blower (simply because it just doesn't have the same sort of power. On - and yes, as you mention , the M12 is kinder to the ears than the 18v/20v blowers. Would love to see you do a comparison in a video and hear your thoughts, and other people seem to think the same!
I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.
I bought the Ryobi version years ago and it is incredibly useful, I literally use it several times a week. If you have M12 batteries, this tool is a no-brainer.
I mean it is a line designed to be small. It's suppose to compliment the 18 volt line in that way but now a lot of peps are just packing M12 so I wouldn't be surprised if they do now make some longer batter runtime options.
I'll tell you where a commercial electrician can't live without this thing. Cutting can light tiles. After you cut the hole with a circle saw you can use this to blow the tile off into the trash can your circle cutout just landed in. I used the dewalt for this a few times. It beats trying to blow all the dust off yourself hands down. If you only have a hand full to cut then yah it isn't worth the trip to the van, but if you have 20+ to 50+ to do you will be very glad you got this.
Can't stop thinking about how nice this would be for drying a vehicle. Lost count how many times I've seen people smack a heavier blower into a vehicle while drying it off. Great for indoor shop operations as well. Yeah, I'm leaning heavily into incorporating the M12.
I run an automotive detailing business and this thing is absolutely brilliant for the purpose you mentioned. The M18 one is preferred but have to buy a "snub nose," attachment to be safe enough for me to trust employees not to damage highend vehicles.
@@donkeydiehard879 I still might get this. They make a snub nose attachment for my EGO blower but I ended up getting the gutter cleaning attachments for it and it comes with a snub nose that latches onto the blower itself. I use a data vac blower for cracks and crevices.
I was looking to get this just for blowing leaves and debris off the windshield of my car. This is Perfect. Also it'll be useful to dry off the little spots of water I can't get with my window wiper. Thanks for your review 👍
Thank you for the video! Any idea if the M12 blower is good enough to blow accumulated dust off of electronic devices, such as a desktop, etc., to replace canned air?
I use my ridgid mini/jobsite blower almost daily, clearing drain traps, cleaning mini split filters, or clearing out condenser rooftop areas etc. Ridgids looks slightly smaller, I also really like the special tip ridgid has you can connect to inflate. But do like Milwaukee sweep tip. The size weight is why I have and love the ridgid. Also have ridgids larger lower, which is great for the garage. For leaves nothing can beat the ego 650cfm blower, love that thing. Just way to big heavy and a beast for more delicate tasks.
I was really hoping you would have done a comparison with the M18 compact blower since this seems like a very direct replacement/competitor. I love that blower and am having a very hard time seeing where this new M12 version fits into my arsenal. As always, great content.
Is this 1 a brushed motor ? I want the power to leaf blow in a compact size that will work with my m12 batteries, brushless is a must for me now , brushed is old tech
Thank you for this very useful review! I'm undecided between the new M12 and the old M18 compact blower (0884). The price is within $10 depending on the source. Anyone have any comments? Would be nice to see a comparison.
I’m thinking about getting it for drying my car after a wash with the 5 ho battery. It has a ceramic coat so water would push off easier. Would it be worth it or effective? I was thinking no extension with the flat tip because I think thatd increase air speed the most and condense it to basically act as a squeegee of air as I moved across. I think run time is around 15 minutes with the 5ho. Or if I should just wait for the new fuel m18 blower that’s dropping in the spring. Be more money and a lot stronger with a forge battery but I assume they’d have similar run times. Plus the new model will be bigger for taking it on road trips. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
I use it for the small stuff with a rag. I would not use this to blow off my car completely. It is not powerful enough IMHO. Everything I have is ceramic coated and it is still too slow.

This is such a great video. I want to share this video to a lot of korean. cause this blower will be released by this month in korea too. thank you so much
If you need a more compact blower can't you just remove the snoot on the M18 blower? Or better yet, purchase a replacement snoot and cut it down to the size needed. Much less expensive than a second blower and battery lasts longer.
I was really hoping they did a brushless unit just for that little bit extra power. however looks ideal for cleaning out computers, clearing dust from surfaces etc How does this compare to the datavac? different specs i know but could be more versatile?
It could, but this is compact, so it would be best for a small room the size of a hotel room and would not blow a lot of dust into the air. Much larger area than that and I would go 18-volt.
Love a realistic review. I've seen other review trying to clean their yards with the m12 blower. In my opinion that is just lazy the big blower does a magnificent job. if you want the small leafblower to perform at the same level it must be because you are too lazy to even use a normal m18 leafblower.

It was barely moving the leaves in that truck bed. I’m gonna say this tool is a dud. Want a tool to blow stuff off, get a real full-size blower. Even car detainers wouldn’t use this. Agreed. Low speed should work fine
For sure but this is nice and small, easier to carry.

Thanks, good informative review. I like the option of using a short nozzle and the quieter sound. Of course my stores still don't have it.
Solid review as always
M12 here, vs the 2 single battery m18, weird the volume of the m12 is 2x the amount of the m18, with exception to the big m18, still deciding
I was going to comment “I want that shirt!” Until I realized it actually says “Pucked” lol

Would this be strong enough for getting jetline through conduit?
