Best Christian book I ever read is “100 Ways God Speaks to You.” Also, Anything by Derek Prince, “Church Shift” by Sunday Adelaja, and “15 Secrets of Prayer Warriors” by Robert Avila. Read those, and by the time you’re done, you’ll have a revived, invigorated, exciting relationship with God and the way you view life.
I love prayer journaling and being able to go back and see God's faithfulness to those who pray in faith. I can then tell the enemy whenever he throws some discouragement and doubt that my God answers prayer. Thank you so much for sharing

Excellent video!!! I have never read the Bible because I could never understand it. I do pray in some way or another daily, but I’m not a reader because I zone out. But I am starting to journal so I think I’m going to purchase a devotional and the journal you showed, and then purchase one of those bibles once I get into everything. This was so helpful ❤️

I feel led to tell you this out of all the love in my heart because as I read your comment the first thing I thought was, "wow, what a lie from the enemy." The enemy has convinced you that you're "not a reader" or you "can't understand." I began talking to God about this and He showed me the way the enemy lies to me personally, I don't realize it's a lie because it's so deeply rooted that I believe it's my truth.. and he's doing the same with you. Please know this, the word of God is our immeasurable weapon, our sword, the light to our path... if the enemy can convince you that you won't be able to understand it and can take your desire away to read it, he's taking your power from you and the weapon that makes you victorious! I hope you can start just adding a verse or two to your day, try different translations to help you better understand, and also what I do before I open my bible daily is, I'll just say a little prayer and ask God to open my mind and heart to hear from Him, to cleanse my heart of anything that is not pleasing to Him, get rid of any distractions and help me see and learn what He wants me to. Just a quick little prayer to get in tune with the Spirit of God. Take it day by day. Download the bible app for free and try the message version or the NLT version like I showed on this video. Check in with me in a week or so and let me know if that was easier and if you liked it. Start in Romans or in Luke. The bible app will also read it out loud to you, so that may help. I have been giving myself more time with God lately, especially with everything going on it makes me so comfortable and at ease to be able to set some time aside for myself and God. I have been listening to more worship music from the church I use to go to Jubilee; and it’s been bringing me to my knees with tears running from my face. I’m feeling the connection I was looking for asking him for forgiveness for not seeking him sooner than this pandemic. Having a relationship with God is number 1 and I’m learning to have keep that always number 1, even after this storm he’s bringing us through, I won’t ever leave him alone again because he never left us alone through our battles. My call is to ministry and I did not learn as a child or when I was younger as I do now; although we went to church. I found out more on the early 2000's. The AMP version is so wonderful to read and breaks everything down so simple. I wanted to read more of the King James Version so I decided to do what my pastor suggested and that is to pray and ask God to strengthen your discernment and ask for His wisdom, understanding and knowledge in His word to better understand the scripture and what it’s saying. It’s helped my husband and I a lot and he reads the New King James Version but understands the original a lot better because they’re very similar ⭐️
Love this! I'm a big fan of Youversion because I can choose different reading plans and devotionals. My goal now is to read a different full Bible plan each year in a different translation. God's word is so rich and there's no reason to ever get bored or see it as stale with so many different resources to help us dig in.
