That last part was the most helpful to me. Had no idea what to do on block and also felt like I didn't totally get why the reverse best stuff was so cool, but now I'm even more excited to get playing after work. Did the tutorial this morning, I now know exactly what to practice when I get home to grt ready to jump online! Great stuff!
I had not much interest at first, but I feel as a GG player , the mechanics translate really well, and I've been playing this already all day and I love it, sad tho that Bachiru's waifu seems to be Noel while mine is Saber
@@ThePlasticBowl well you always gotta put a bit of time and effort to a fighting game, since I play GG even older ones like XX it helped with the dashes, movements and stuff, also and even dbfz helped with clean inputs for auto combos, so give it a go, I was on the fence with Melty at first, gave it a shot, now I love it
@@ThePlasticBowl Melty Blood might be the perfect side-game to play alongside GG Strive (and vice-versa). The simple inputs and free air movement complement very well the experience of playing Strive, and you don't need much to start.
Thanks a lot for the guide. It looks like Melty is more of what I want, because a few hours into Strive I lost interest. Good thing the netcode is actually functional :)
aaaaa I love to play this game but damn looks like it needs a lot of commitment to play hmm, i just suck at fighting game and I cant really focus to play a game for a long time consistently. But damn it's fun to have a great fight online, fighting game are too hard men lol
Yea the heat mode acts like a burst while giving you access to something similar to an overdrive attack if you do it before heat mode runs out. Also recovers and dark blue (recoverable) health
@@decrabtra its alright. I want to break combo-after-combo anyway. There is some invince moves as i learn as much as moon skills very handy to make turn around. And now there is a heat. Its pretty nice.
@@ЙирюВонаирда yeah I mean I personally don't think the game needs it. Shield counter already gives a lot of defensive depth and I think strive like burst would be too much
Man, I've missed super fast, ultra agile fighting games. Looking forward to more content on the game.

So I play Ram in GG and I hover around floors 9 to 10 is this game something you think I’ll be able to pick up and learn relatively well?

I'll be subbing Saber as well :D
It's is possible for you to one day do hisui & kohaku, the dual character thing looks interesting.

Take it one step at a time and you'll get there :), you need to put time and effort to get better in anything especially fighting games
i wonder if there is something like BRUST option in GG, to break from the pressure or when they comboed you.
Yea the heat mode acts like a burst while giving you access to something similar to an overdrive attack if you do it before heat mode runs out. Also recovers and dark blue (recoverable) health
Should be noted though you can't go into heat in hit stun like you can in gg.
@@RJWoodMoroseTenacity huh, alright

I assume you are maining noel too?
Yes i will!
Are we dropping strive for melty blood?
It'll be a 70/30 split for now, the 70 is Melty
Do you need a controller or is keyboard a competitive option?
kb should be fine, the inputs are very simple, there's no half-circles or anything
Hit-boxes are just more specialized keyboards, so yes, keyboard should be competitive. It has some advantages over a stick.
It's funny how I decided to pick up noelle and ram before even watching your videos, I guess we have the same great tastes lol
I see you're a man of culture as well XD
I's the game beginner friendly?
I would say no, there are a lot of system mechanics to be learned and movement is really important in this game which will dedication to learn
@BaeGeeN258 oh alright. Thanks ! 😊
Getting uniclr vibes ngl
lol
Same company
1- that strive is better

Still playing Xrd 2, not that big of a fan of strive, but that’s just my opinion.
