Google Pixel 3 range also just has 4GB’s of ram. Only Samsung needs 6GB and upwards because of bloatware and UI that sucks 50% before even using the phone. For one thing Sony knows what they are doing and if google uses only 4GB as well, that tells you something.
The Pixel 3 XL has serious RAM management issues. 6GB of RAM is more common in flagships this year than just with Samsung for a number of reasons. This phone doesn't have the issues the Pixel 3 XL has, but the Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Premium didn't have any noticeable issues because of a better RAM:resolution ratio.

Held off on getting this phone when it was first released in the U.S. due to the price. I've always wanted to try a Sony phone, but their pricing always made it a tough sell. Luckily (or sadly, depending on how you want to look at it), their prices don't seem to stay sky-high for long. This morning I was able to order a brand new international versions, with 6 GB of RAM as well as in the Bordeaux Red color (neither of which are available on the U.S. model), and only paid $629 through Amazon! Really excited to get this, as it really caught my eye last year, and it was only the pricing that held me back from picking it up then.

Yes that crushed details in blacks or, more appropriately, in shadows is what I have been pointing out for a long time so I think I know what you are getting at. Also the contrast they all drool about is unreal since there is no absolute black or absolute white in real life. It's absolute black only when it's dark and absolute white in snow where one needs goggles. Another reason why I liked LCDs better is the fact that I somewhat feel strained looking at an oled panel which is maybe due to the direct light source. Also colour accuracy had been better on the LCD panels. However, it's now beginning to change, better image processors and better control over each led is now leading towards better oled displays. Colours have improved, shadows are better, contrast too is better managed, though not sure about the strain on eyes I get cause I haven't had a chance to play with the XZ3 or the note 9. Any way which ever way we look at it there is no denying that Led panels are the future for now just as is the removal of 35mm audio jack is an inevitable deduction in future flagships.
Umer Khayyam Khan I have to disagree buddy... This is my first oled screen and I'm gonna go back to oled...
