Thanks so much for watching!
it's pretty funny to me how copyright obsessed Disney are considering most of their films are based on stuff in the public domain.
Most if not all Disney movies are based on books and they have the audacity to be this possessive of their properties
@@sophitiaofhyrule which really sucks cuz now anyone adapting those books is forced to make it as different from the Disney version as possible just to not get into trouble, even though their adapting works that predates Disney.
To be fair, Disney has moved away from that quite a bit in recent years. Looking at the Disney Animated Canon, the most recent movies that adapt a pre-existing story are Big Hero 6 and Frozen, and Frozen is so separated from its source material that it doesn't even have the same name (and both are almost a decade old at this point). Encanto borrowed the concept of "magic Columbia" from a book, but was otherwise unrelated, and Moana is based in Polynesian myth but is a completely original story within that. Everything else they made in the last decade (not counting subsidiaries) have been original works or were sequels to stuff they'd already made. But yeah, the irony that adapting from the public domain being how they got popular is not lost on me.
@@PlayerZeroStart the irony of your whole rant is that every single thing they make still seems to be based on some pre existing concept in some way😂 I know the point you're trying to make is that now the stories are so different from the source material but it always has for like a long time now😂 look at Mulan, the little mermaid, the princess and the frog
And then there's Nintendo.
That part where Disney didn't allow that 4 year old to have spiderman on their gravestone is messed up. We truly are in the time where the Disney company is at their lowest point.
They don't deserve their positive public opinion anymore tbh
Disney: Spider-Man shouldn’t be associated with death
Me: Yeah tell that to Uncle Ben
its even worse when you consider there is an actual spiderman comic about him visiting a dying child in a children’s hospital, so there already is official media where he is associated with a child dying, in which he was there to support it
That's actually Sony's fault
@@KaminoKatie Disney owns Spider-Man, the only part Sony owns is the movie and live action series rights
Ok the whole cannibalising each other part really confused me cause didn’t Rabbit have a garden where he grew a lot of vegetables on it and I’m pretty sure that Pooh could still steal from the bees for their honey so why would food be a problem for them
Probably 1. coz edgy, and 2. just wanted to be as far away from the source material as possible. Wouldn't be shocked if Disney had some lawyer hovering on the sidelines waiting to spot even a single facet from one of the Pooh books they still own to slap them with a C&D, so best to just avpid book canon.
Yeah exactly like they're animals in the wild? They were abandoned their habitat wasn't destroyed so why didn't they eat what they found in nature
@@pigeonleader A big problem with feeding wild animals is it will teach them to expect to be fed, causing them too not hunt. If someone stops filling their bird feeder, the birds will die of starvation. That's what likely happened when Christopher left.
@@sparkaward But he never fed them, they always ate food themselves 😭
@@sparkaward but Pooh and the rest aren’t wild animals they’re pretty much people in all but appearance so the whole wild animal comparison isn’t really applicable here

And Now ladies and Gentlemen enjoy GOTHAM KNIGHTS.
This movie genuinely felt like it was made purely for shock value. Like they were waiting for Winnie the Pooh to finally be public domain and they were frothing from the mouth when they finally announced this... then didn't do anything special with it
I dunno man
ehh Velma suffered worse
atleast Blood And Honey was a little funny
Can't believe Disney would shamelessly ripoff this modern masterpiece 46 years before it hit theatres.
@@geomania8533 That's impossible to do
@@geomania8533wouldn't go anywhere
@@geomania8533 cant legally do that. They dont own the characters this movie uses
@@geomania8533Then they would Aldo have to sue the creators of the Soviet Winnie the Pooh mini series(which is amazingly close to its source material considering the only characters present are: Winnie, piglet, eeyore, the owl and the rabbit whose names I forgot.).
Actually come to think of it, I am pretty sure the soviet version came before the Disney one.
@@geomania8533 whinnie the pooh is public domain, they legally can't
This movie felt like a youtube horror parody trailer like Five Nights at Sesame Street but they actually made a feature length film.
It felt like something robot chicken would do and it would’ve been shorter.
Elmo's arson. Ernie and Fart. Big Turd.
That video was unironically kind of terrifying
10:29 to be fair, the Peter Pan mythos has some actual horror potential
Like the original version of the story!
I was looking for someone who would mention that…… I love that bolt here showed proof of that for us lol
The movie is all sunshine and rainbows where the children and Peter Pan are having wholesome moments.
Until one of the children gets brutally murdered by the local tribe, another eaten by a crocodile, a couple of them getting killed by Captain Hook's men etc.
10/10 idea.
How unironic that the Winnie The Pooh horror movie is equivalent to actual poo. Truly one of the films made in the public domain.
Wdym?
Bro see my Fate x Evangelion drawing Eva....
@@HelenaSan425 Fate and Evangelion aren't in the public domain yet
@@TupocalypseShakur i wasn't getting your attention
It was for Eva 01
Eva Homie notice please!
Honestly, my main issue with this movie would be the designs of pooh and piglet themselves. In the opening story it implies that They became Savage monsters and yet they look like people in Halloween costumes, I'm surprised they didn't make them look like actual monsters. I feel like that would have been much cooler
@TheGlassesPro I know, but if there was a bigger budget just imagine how cool the monster designs could have been
@TheGlassesProI just hope that if they introduce owl and rabbit in the sequel that they actually look more terrifying then pooh and piglet. Like a monstrous owl flying in the night and swooping down on its prey, or a monster rabbit that burrows underground to catch it's prey
Or just make them actual serial killers that just-so-happened to cosplaying as Pooh and Piglet
(It would've been way more interesting than what we actually got)
@@KaminoKatie ya see now that's what I originally thought the movie was going to be about, psychotic murderers dressed up as Winnie the Pooh characters
I would've loved for pigglet to be some giant aggressive boar while Winnie is a giant bear that preys on animals
The scariest part of this video was when an ad popped up 3/4 of the way through. I literally have no friends who would want to see a movie like this with.
This is the prime example of people who realized they could do something but didn't stop and ask if they should
Meatcanyon and Xploshi made better horror adaptations of Winnie the Pooh in under 5 minutes than an actual hour and a half long movie.

Hopefully Tigger is on the side of good if he’s in the sequel. Cuz it looks like he wasn’t one of the animals that had starved and resorted to eating his friends.
They’ll probably say that he committed genocide on the rest of his species so he can be “the only one”
😂😂😂
Yeah like imagine being Tigger, you decide to find other ways to cope with your favorite human abandoning you, and when you feel good enough to come back you see all your friends have been turned into brutal killers
Never thought we'd get a Pooh property even creepier than Welcome to Pooh Corner but here we are.
What is that??
@@MediaLoverChris02 a show that aired on Disney playhouse I think.
@@MediaLoverChris02 A shitty live action thing from disney channel, the costumes used look like FNAF 4 animatronics
Just like with the Banana splits movie they made it horror film where their bootleg fnaf robots that kill people.
Id rather watch welcome to pooh corner
Imagine in the sequel, Winnie the Pooh comes back alive somehow and says “Time to poo”, and poops all over the screen.
Then the movie will sell 1 pooillion dollars at the box office
It would be the most pooh movie of all time.
It's pooin' time!
That would be better
Fun Fact:Pooillion Is After Nonillion
It feels like the studio didn't actually want to make a movie, but just watch childhood characters kill people
That's what I watched the movie for
I'm genuinely frightened by what could happen when the Sonic characters go public domain
I'm sure we'll all be in retirement homes by then.
Or we'd all be dead considering the two proclaimed creators of Sonic are still well and alive.
No need, the fandom is already scarier than actual horror movies.
Yeah, that's gonna be a long long while. You probably won't see what will happen.
0:05 oh my god Pooh has pupils, I thought his eyes were hollow, now that if u look at it closely it is a little creepy
I have never wanted to "smash a like button" more than when you compared it to piglet smashing a girl's head in with a hammer. Great video!
There's so much you could with a public domain and they went with the lazy route of "what if cute and child friendly but evil?"
Just lame
It's only gonna get worse.
The creation of the Banana Splits movie went down that same route. I know it was originally gonna be a Five Nights At Freddy's movie, but seeing the Banana Splits characters as horror movie villains still doesn't sit right for me.
@@marissawolff8491 Yeah that movie was awful and insulting. Plus Willy's Wonderland is a a better FNAF rip-off

That would be legit terrifying. A horror look of Tigger, chasing you while hopping with his tail, that could give anyone nightmares!
This movie has inspired me to make my own Winnie the poo movie.
Tigger wasn't in the film due to not being public domain at the time
Since there's going to be a sequel and Tigger has a high chance of appearing with becoming public domain in 2024
I love Tigger so I have to say this
"God is Dead and we have killed him"

I honestly thought this movie would be exclusive to small theaters because it's a independent film. But I was surprised as hell that I saw this movie was playing at the big AMC theater in my city. I was, of course, interesting in seeing it, and I did.
I love the idea of a Winnie the Pooh horror film but mostly because that sounds hilarious.
And since a Grinch horror movie was already created, could you imagine the existence of a horror movie about Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer?
Me and my uncle (who is a horror-holic[???]) watched this movie and we both agreed not to talk about it, not just because it’s bad, but also not to concern my mom. Also, NOOOOI!!! My BOY EEYORE!!!!
Killing off Eeyore makes this movie a instant no no for me
This film had the nerve to challenge The Bye Bye Man in awesomeness.
Truly the movie of all time
Peter Pan horror makes sense, actually...
Kidnapping, child labor,
Is Peter the hero, or is he in cahoots with Hook?!?
There's going to be a Bambi horror.
I imagine the plot being Bambi out for revenge on the hunters.
Killer animal movie like Jaws, Cujo, Anaconda, and Lake Placid.
@@mamboo0743 honestly I would be kind of interested to see that, though the only way I think of it working (minus the usual plot armor for the vicious animal) is that Bambi is freakishly intelligent for a common deer
As in smart enough to lure hunters into areas with dangerous predators and set them off while staying hidden or going near cliffs to kick them off, sabotage their weapons, vehicles and traps by breaking them with something
Or to put it simply, she's not on the human level of intelligence, but she's still pretty damn smart for a deer and plays the scheming, hidden in the shadows villain
@@jacksixterror Bambi is a male
4:39 we also have a bambi horror movie set to come out im pretty sure.
Just because you could, doesn’t mean you should do it
You teaching me about copyright about this movie was 10 times more intresting than this entire movie
4:04 It's 2024 now, and boy, do I now want to see a video from Bolt talking about what people have done to Steamboat Willie in the last two days lol
Honestly I feel like this movie was made just to spite Disney, and I have mad respect for that
Kinda nice to see you make a video on a separate movie again, Bolt. We haven't seen a video like that in quite while. Tbh I do get it and all, and I do prefer this style of content you've been doing for over a year. But it's good seeing you taking inspirations from your old videos( well I wouldn't say it was like your older movie videos. But it was somewhere along those lines). Ik this is random to say, but I thought it was smth nice to comment. Take care
The worst part about this movie is the creators coming after anyone who says something bad about it
Wait really lmao!? Are they THAT petty that not everyone likes their edgy D-Grade Garbage Horror flick?
So basically, much like how the original creator of Sonic.exe reacted when his shitty creepypasta got moved to Trollpasta Wiki.
Yes, because this is exactly what we all need: a Winnie the Pooh serial killer horror movie. 😑
What's next, a detective cop drama with Dumbo?! 😡
This is why it's always bad to see edgelords making these garbage films because they're that petty towards the world.
The worst part is that they get to make money from it. I've seen fan films on RUclips that have so much more passion and care put into them and those are for free
@@darthcinema4262 the double standard's when it comes to these kind of projects is insane
You know what, since this exists, I wouldn’t be surprised

"we're gonna have to wait a decade for there to be a mickey mouse horror movie"
a line that aged very badly.
"Superman is coming to public domain"
Porn industry: *drooling *
They've already done like a lot of porn parodies of Superman, even if they did it in a roundabout way to avoid getting sued.
Also, rule 34 is a thing, so...
@@devofficialchannel yeah but for those interested, whatever the reason (porn or character), will relive the usual parodies or even, if -we- they are lucky, new funny things like rights to copy certain scenes or angles (like happened with those Disney shorts a few years ago, sorry don't remember which one) from iconic moments or specially covers, I'm even remembering that moment when Supes got coerced into making an adult film... It will be celebrated at least somewhere and it will be fun to watch and even to share, unless you're planning on touching yourself to it. That would be an aberration, to me would be like a christian watching the same but with Jesus. Abhorrent.
This movie was a fever dream fr💀
This video kind of felt different from every different Diamondbolt video. It was more of a chill vibe. In a good way. I think bolt should make more videos like this but still shouldn't stop making the other ones.
Gnomeo and juliet is an amazing film
Cinema picked the day it was released.
The least they could have done was add a bit of humor.
Disney: How could releasing Winnie the Pooh into the public domain harm him in any way?
The public domain: *Blood and Honey*
Public domain: *waiting for mickey to enter public domain in 2024*
I didn’t even pay to see this movie and I still feel like I was ripped off watching it on a cam rip.
10:55 holy crap that’s my fanart
Thanks so much man, lol
“Waiting for decade for a Mickey Mouse shitty horror movie” that aged poorly!
the fact that they didn't let the family put spiderman on their 4 year old sons grave because it would "diminish" the brand just shows that they know nothing about their own brand. spiderman would 100% allow that. he would probably make the gravestone himself too... rip
Well, we’re getting some more
Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey 2
Mickey’s Mousetrap
Bambi: The Reckoning
Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare
Pinocchio: Unstrung
Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble
Mickey's Mousetrap is a different universe
The irony of the public domain is its meant to encourage creativity look at zombies
Walking dead
Zombie land
Plants vs zombies
Cod zombies
Resident evil
Left 4 dead
The last of us
Dead rising
Minecraft
Tararria
House of the dead
REC
technically uncharted
Marvel and dc zombies
These all use zombies and while the monster blue print is zombie eat people. They are virtually not the same.
So this movie sinks to the level of creepy pastas. The public domain was meant to encourage creation but Disney stunted it and honestly I think has the public domain not screwed up by Disney I genuinely think this won't exist. Like obviously horror winnie the pooh would exist as if creepy pastas don't already exist. But this movie as a movie a movie in theaters wouldn't exist and nobody would watch it.
I also think it's a shame because I actually don't fear the idea of the public Domains effect on pop culture because at the end of the day we only get a version of a charater and to me its a way for more circulation of ideas. Batman will still be DC's child people will still watch dc movies for the batman let's be honest
But this movie to me proves how the public domain lost its way.
I don't hate this obviously it's funny to watch but put it in a box and under a microscope is it funnier than sonic.exe.
.exes I hate for a similair reason because creepy pasta may not of had the best of stories but sonic .exe got removed from the website because the site creepy pasta actually had quality control. The site Cr@ppy pasta is a site to give criticism towards writters for improvment and even though eyeless jack slenderman maybe aren't that scarry it was atleast not .exe number 246.
I have a lot more respect towards a failed creative vision over a failed product.
The movie is a live action .exe
I want a new version of winnie the pooh I want more stories I will never see them but I can atleast respect it.
Tldr: the public domain has been stretched so much it lost its way
In a distant universe this would exist but nobody would care. This is a .exe .it lacks creativity like a .exe.
It's funny because it's sonic exe in theaters
I'm not mad just disappointed
I honestly thought for a moment that I wished that the public domain wasn't allowed just so this movie couldn't have a sequel.
Yeeeeah.. maybe just let Disney make his movies for now on.
They are just as bad nowadays
4:35
Just for clarification, the movie he's talking about, Pinocchio's Revenge, was released in 1996, not 2004.
Was surprised to see you cover this but it was definitely a welcome surprise.
Cats is one of the horror movies I watch as a kid
4:42 wtf there was a Grinch horror movie!?
7:42 That Among Us ad is scarier than the whole movie
I really really hate Disney, so knowing how pissed off they were about this movie is enough for me to love this movie's entire existence
Yeah but the movie itself is awful and unpleasant
@@darthcinema4262 eh, I know the movie itself is bad but I enjoy bad things (I'm a huge fan of the bayformers, but I know that they are bad). I'm also a huge horror fan so it didn't phase me at all

This movie should had been hilarious, it’s frickin’ Winnie the Pooh as a horror movie. But it takes itself so damn seriously. And I believe that’s why this, and many of these horror movie remake, fail so hard. Not to mention how our focus shift from Christopher Robin to a group of unrelated girl, that weren’t even his friend or his fiancée friends. Would had make this a bit cohesive. Shoot the girl with stalker issue could had been a Tigre kind of reference or something.
I told people in my family that this should have been a monster movie not a slasher
Kinda glad im not seeing it. Nice to learn about what copyright is though, I never knew there was a set duration
The only relatively new public domain character I can think of that is popular is probably “NULL” (Baldi’s basics in education and learning)
I don't know what's worse, this movie or hearing that Disney wouldn't let a gravestone for a four year old have Spiderman on it.
Spider man is confrimed to enter Public Domain in 2057.
I actually have a friend that was part of the crew for this movie, and he says that your confusion was the same as everyones on set lol
I saw a poster for that while randomly passing by a mall with a cinema and it weirded me out a bit making me wonder how is that a thing, until I remembered that Pooh is kinda in the public domain.
It definitely looks like it taking itself too seriously is its main flaw. I feel like making a kiddy story into a horror movie is losing its luster lately.
I mean let’s be honest. No one was actually expecting it to be good.
I subscribed after ur pvz video and now im back! Great video!
Man, I was so hyped for this film, I just hope the sequel is much better.
I screamed so loud from this movie that the everyone laughed at the cinema
I watched this Movie on opening day and i even skipped school for it with 4 friends and we hated it
And the thing that surprises me is that they want to make a sequel
i feel like when the copyright expires for the railway series someone will make the sad story of henry into the horror everyone thinks it is in a similar vein to this
The movie was removed from theaters in China also Peter pan and Bami, are next to be as horror movies
God bless you for suffering through this.
Diamondbolt posting is always a w
I’ll be real, the movie wasn’t the greatest, but given the fact that it was made by an independent studio, the quality is really good. I just wish the story was more interesting.
If every character will eventually be in the public domain that kinda means we could eventually get a Garfield 3 😂
That moment you realize that one short film where audio from Apocalypse Now was dubbed over the classic cartoons made a better film than this.
A. Glad u watched this B. How dare you diss morbius
But still it’s amazing that a small studio could pull this off, besides the plot the movie is pretty impressive
9:48 I immediately said “ dude this is dark net”
