Tbh their is better role modes out their like athletes, Albert Einstein, the normal people that work hard to achieve goals are good role modes. You’re just talking about LGBTQ community role models, it doesn’t Have to surround LGBTQ. Gays, and etc can look up to athletes and different role models that strive to achieve success/greatness. This song has a special place in my heart. I was born and brought up in a Catholic family in Texas and my boyfriend was born and brought up in a strict Hindu family back in India. This is by far my favorite song in the album.
To anyone who has been through this. Its was very awful and terrifying when someone has you in such a grip that at anytime they can just come back and hurt you and abuse you again. These lyrics explain it in such a way I could not. Such a masterpeice.
