That is what makes them both unique. Similarly to any Disney film ever, and then Once Upon a Time's versions of the same characters :) Just because it is based off the same thing, doesn't make it copies or rip-offs :(

In that story, the Snow Queen really is the villain, how kidnaps a boy that accidentally gets a shard of her magic mirror in his eye. His best friend (I played her XD) goes to rescue him. It's completely different, but based on the same story, so I don't really think it's a ripoff. Maybe they didn't even know Disney based it off that story, or didn't even know they were doing that movie? Or they were planning on doing it before? Both stories are really wonderful, although I must say Disney did a better job at animating it.
IN frozen they were planning on Elsa to be a bad guy but because of her hairdo , song and how she looked they knew people *kids* would get mad so they made Hans the bad guy :T

Kiara the Brave was released earlier (2011 vs 2012), so was Snow Queen (2012 vs 2013). Also, Snow Queen's plot is completely different. "Kiara the Brave" was released on the 11th of November 2011 (in India) and on the 19th of June 2012 (in the United States). The earliest "Brave" was released was on the 10th of June 2012 at a Seattle International Film Festival while its first teaser was released on June 27, 2011. Did you mean it was marketed for people who wanted to see "Brave" to watch by changing its title in the US--as you said, the plot isn't very similar? Also, "Snow Queen" came out at least 10 months earlier than Frozen (its earliest release was on the 31st of December 2012 while Frozen's earliest (at a film festival) was on the 10th of November 2013) and has a very different plot (for example, Frozen was originally pitched more as the origin story to the Snow Queen while the Snow Queen, the movie, is more inline with the plot of the original source material)
I think the research on this channel was horrible and in the "worst disney sequel" someone said it's not "the worst disney sequel" it was "never been as good as the original sequel" and some of the movies in the video was actually good and in the other channel some of them was categorized as the best disney sequel

The Ice Queen one pissed me off. Just because Disney is more advanced and famous doesn’t mean that the creators of that movie should be disrespected and blamed. They made the movie earlier, so technically, THEY made it first.
There are a ton of fake disney dvd's on Brazil, especially princesses ones. They are often sold ilegally in the streets (near the shopping mall) for a lower price, so, they can trick innocent people into buying the low priced films but not getting what they expected or wanted. As I said, it is illegal. So It is a crime to sell those dvd's near the mall, but they always find a way to dodge police. Also, some of these dvd's can be sold on small shops (for a lower price than original disney ones). When they are sold in shops then it's legal.

Kiara the Brave was released earlier (2011 vs 2012), so was Snow Queen (2012 vs 2013). Also, Snow Queen's plot is completely different.
"Kiara the Brave" was released on the 11th of November 2011 (in India) and on the 19th of June 2012 (in the United States). The earliest "Brave" was released was on the 10th of June 2012 at a Seattle International Film Festival while its first teaser was released on June 27, 2011. Did you mean it was marketed for people who wanted to see "Brave" to watch by changing its title in the US--as you said, the plot isn't very similar? Also, "Snow Queen" came out at least 10 months earlier than Frozen (its earliest release was on the 31st of December 2012 while Frozen's earliest (at a film festival) was on the 10th of November 2013) and has a very different plot (for example, Frozen was originally pitched more as the origin story to the Snow Queen while the Snow Queen, the movie, is more inline with the plot of the original source material)
I think the research on this channel was horrible and in the "worst disney sequel" someone said it's not "the worst disney sequel" it was "never been as good as the original sequel" and some of the movies in the video was actually good and in the other channel some of them was categorized as the best disney sequel

Ok.. I don't trust these people if you guys believe what they are saying, then stop. They mention how The Snow Queen stole the idea of Frozen yet The Snow Queen is WAY older than Frozen, if you don't believe me then look it up yourself.
The Ice Queen one pissed me off. Just because Disney is more advanced and famous doesn’t mean that the creators of that movie should be disrespected and blamed. They made the movie earlier, so technically, THEY made it first.

There are a ton of fake disney dvd's on Brazil, especially princesses ones. They are often sold ilegally in the streets (near the shopping mall) for a lower price, so, they can trick innocent people into buying the low priced films but not getting what they expected or wanted. As I said, it is illegal. So It is a crime to sell those dvd's near the mall, but they always find a way to dodge police. Also, some of these dvd's can be sold on small shops (for a lower price than original disney ones). When they are sold in shops then it's legal.

The snow queen came *before* Frozen (I think?) and it is ALOT closer to the Hans Christian Andersen story, so Frozen is more like the rip-off here

Inevitavelmente a bandeira da metrópole original é mostrada no lugar da bandeira das colônias.

I don't understand why do people compare the snow Queen and Frozen. Disney specifically said that they were simply *inspired* by the snow Queen. They didn't want to make the *remake* of it.
