You can learn more about the Armadillo at a new exhibit at the Austin Museum of Popular Culture. The museum’s Leeah Mechling and Freddie Krc joined Good Day Austin’s Casey Claiborne this weekend to talk about the ‘dillo and the museum.

I wonder if anyone might have a picture of the outside of the mens room wall at the Headquarters? As I recall it was painted with a cartoon character of a guy peeking over a fence or wall with a caption that I cant remember but it was quite funny. I was stationed at Ft. Hood back in 1977-8 and every chance I got I'd head to Austin. It was a great party town. Gawd, those were the days!
