Thanks! I only had one GSC unit (the lads with hardware tools and you bet I gave them hi-vis), but now one of my housemates moved out and left me his minis, which includes a squad of Jackals, so I sort of want to pad it out to maybe a 500 point mini collection that could be used in Horde Mode, or alternatively could fill the other 500 points with Battle Brothers or Vanguard. And at that small number, it's more about just picking a few nice things that stand out rather than getting into serious "Well for THIS detachment I would want..."
Mine is always going to be the duo of the Reductus and the Kelermorph. They may not be good, they may not even fit, but I find them really cool, and I'll take them whenever I can.
I always have my abominant or Big Thumpy as i call him in my lists. But i always try and work a rock grinder into my lists. Its not optimal but yelling "bang bang honda gang" when i charge with it is optimal for my soul
@@ChristianVonCarmian40kVtuber I did see that vid and it was a blast to watch as a 'Nid player, but I didn't get much sense of how it squares up to the other detachments for GSC. That could just be my goldfish memory though ngl
@@AAw3s0m3 for shooting style Final Day, Ascension Host does it better; for combat style the +1 to hit and monsters are very good and I prefer it to biosanctic (few other people will)
I think something bad happened to the audio quality it hurts my ears and I put it on the lowest setting possible just wanted to mention that maybe other people encountered the same problem I never had this problem with any of your other videos before
I have been a fan of w40k for more than 20 years, but I started playing it late, now when the tenth edition was released. I understand that this thing about detachments now came out in the tenth edition, and that before each faction had a lot of stratagems that could be used in any detachment. and the detachments were nothing more than a special rule focused on something and then you applied the stratagems of your army that best suited you. If that's the case and I'm not wrong, then I think the same as you and then I think that the detachments thing is the worst thing they could have done.

Welcome to the cult.
You always give us good stuff
Great information
Abberants can be pretty amazing in HoA too: 7 inch charge from Deepstrike and Lethal, Sustained on 5+ is crazy on 10 abberants with biophagus.
Everyone loves a big hammer.

My favorite unit is the *magus*
...said noone ever.
As a miniature yes, as a Datasheet… well…
The lady magus is a cool mini

Noticing the mic sounds a little off in this episode. I'm hoping that's not gonna remain the case, this is good content.
I did a windows update - it messed with stuff and I am still trying to fix it all
@@ChristianVonCarmian40kVtuber as a software dev this is far too relatable, I know your pain good sir.

yes: ruclips.net/video/pKqOwi7vLqs/видео.htmlsi=J9Z3VHue5DlEJSyQ
I've not seen much mention of the Final Day detachment. Does that have anything top tier in it, or is it more just a fun awesome idea?
It can do some powerful things: ruclips.net/video/pKqOwi7vLqs/видео.htmlsi=IEPtQmedsQozeowH

@@insert-cony8379 yeah you are right
detachments in 10ed are inspired by lord bonus in total war warhammer and imo kill both list building and flavor
