This seems like the kind of game that could become a new game, a standalone based on co-op. I've been saying this since it came out. Imagine an MMORPG/RTS, where the RPG elements are out of combat mostly but maybe with a hero unit in play as well, putting points into stats and leveling up abilities and stuff. Kinda like Commanders already has, but with a talent tree, more customization options. 3 different "classes", Hero, Commander and Strategist, focusing on having a hero unit on screen with equipment, plays a bit more like a MOBA where you command troops as well, Commander focuses on units, larger armies built faster and moving faster, and strategist focuses more on specialist units, terrain control, area defenses, ambushes. The MMO aspect just being you can co-op up to 4 people for boss fights or extra hard missions, maybe fighting in 3 or 4 different factions over a map. Winning missions in a certain region gets your faction points, which can be spent through monthly votes of all people in the faction (on that server) or something, I dunno.

@@adtrlthegamer7449 Nah, just stay human. Stukov already got that covered with the whole infested race. I’d like for a commander to focus solely on science and medicine.
