5 seconds in to this track I was thinking "Ah! Ignasi's back!" Instant anticipation which was not let down by the rest of that marvelous intro. And then there came Andrea's trumpet solo... what a delight it all was.
Lovely music you can play! Make your way, that what you dream when you are wonder: what i'll do? who i'll be? Don't forget that thi life is for you. This seems to be the life motto of Andrea, Joan and all the other terrific musicians from the Sant Andreu Jazz Band. Wonderful.

Love the bluesy idiom that the SAJB nail here. Monne's arrangement is, as always, superlative and Mr.Chamorro himself composed the song. Everyone is going from strength to strength.

It's always like "the sun comes shining through" after a cold and rainy day if I see - and hear - this Motis girl. - If I'm not seriously mistaken, that lady from the trumpet section, at the left at 3:50, was that little girl singing "When you're smiling" in 2013 which let everybodys heart melt. Elsa Armengou, thanks a lot. And everybody from the SAJB, keep up the good work.

Andrea en su salsa, dominando el escenario, bordando el tema con su voz, su trompeta, su talento, su estilo y su buen gusto, rodeada de sus habituales Traver (fantástico solo), Terraza (lo mismo) y Pi, esta vez con el joven Miquel Casanova "haciendo" de Chamorro, mucho futuro se ve en el chaval. Y si le añades a Elia pasando del saxo al violín y otra vez al saxo, así como quien se mete y se saca las manos de los bolsillos y una sección de viento con lo más granado que ha salido de la banda (las Albas, Marçal, Martí, Elsa ...), pues eso, que más se puede decir.
Lo más increíble es que el maestro Chamorro y sus chavales han llegado ya a tal grado de excelencia cum laude que se ha convertido en pura rutina. Para ellos y para sus fans. El día en que se les ocurra bajar un poco el nivel y ser "solo" sobresalientes, los vamos a crucificar ... 😂

Le swing initialisé par Ignasi est communicatif, plaçant sur orbite ses confrères de scène.
Ensuite la contre basse avec la batterie donnent un tempo parfait; à ce niveau déjà je balance sur ma chaise. La voix d'Andréa bien adaptée fait réellement du jazz; j'ai moins apprécié son solo de trompette qui était moyen à mes oreilles. Comme souvent le solo de Josep est hésitant (pour moi c'est le maillon faible du quartet Joan Chamorro). Malgré tout l'interprétation générale est plaisante et je l'a réécoute régulièrement. Prise de son impeccable, prise vidéo irréprochable.
