Optimus prime is undoubtedly one of greatest fictional leader's I have ever seen on screen. I learnt so much from this guy.
Optimus Primes character is definitely, a true leader.
he is. and in these series, we see him become a bit more 3 dimensional as each battle in the movies actually makes him question his desire to protect humans and in this one willing to abandon it. I can't wait to see what he will become in the fifth, i can honestly say

Jacob Bozman yeah I used to hate it when Optimus said "how many more of my kind must be sacrificed to atone for your mistakes?" But after a while, it began to make sense as humans began turning on Transformers, as we sat with Ratchet and Leadfoot among others. Optimus had simply lost faith in humans after DotM once Transformers became outlawed, especially after everything the Autobots had done for humanity

Don't know why critics hate this series so much.I personally like all the films and there is so much entertainment in these along with some awesome soundtracks.

The Transformers franchise is one of the only franchises which doesn't have a good storyline but still loves it for its badass fighting scenes and songs

This video makes the movie seem more like a masterpiece than It already was
At first I was so upset That Linkin Park wasn't doing the song for Transformers 4. I was really annoyed. But than when I found out Imagine Dragons was doing the song, I was happy again! Linkin Park is my all time favorite band, but Imagine Dragons is my second favorite band, and Battle Cry fit the tone of the movie perfectly.
Linkin Park did do a song for transformers 4. it just wasn't added in to the movie. it's on the soundtrack though. :)

Linkin Park actually put their new song "Until It's Gone" on one of the soundtracks, I think it was for the video game maybe.
They're still a part of it, they're just not the main band anymore.
I gotta say, I'm not a fan of imagine dragons at all, and this song isn't my favorite, but it matches the tone of the movie very well.
Even being a "bad" series, Transformers is one of the greatest cinematic sagas of the century

@@bunnyphoenix2992 Well... The story is a mess to say the least, the plot of every film is pretty much the same and every time more cliche, there are MANY irrelevant characters and bad writen others and absurd things happen all the time. But even so, I can't stop enjoying it.

@bunnyphoenix2992 also the plot is kind of all over the place Optimus prime gets the matrix of leadership in tf2 and in tf3 they act like he always had it as megatron and sentinel primes plan relied on him using it to bring sentinel back from the dead some characters just disappear. tf5 is just all over the place and didn’t make that much sense and changed multiple thing such as bumblebee being on earth since before ww2 when it was established he was only on earth since a little bit before the first movie. But don’t get me wrong I still like the series.

Me too, I love these four movies. I don't get why people have to talk shit about them all the time. It's a whole different universe, every different TF series is as well, so of course things are different or contradict with what other series said.
Oh my God!
There is something about this song that captures the very essence of the true meaning of existence. The poetry, conveyed in sorrowful and extremely sonorous rendition, makes this particular soundtrack one of the best of the Transformers franchise.
I love every bit of the sound track.
Battle cry is the true reflection and expression of genius at its finest. The sound track -lyrics and all- stimulates all of my fecund faculties. Whenever the soundtrack comes up, I am almost always reduced to a tear or two.

That's what I didn't understand about this movie! They made Optimus angry at Stanley tucci 's character because he was melting down transformers, and rightly so, but by the end of the movie all is forgiven! Optimus should have stepped on Tucci when they first met, the film would've been far more realistic then.

I FOUND IT, THIS SONG HAS BEEN STUCK IN MY HEAD SINCE 2017, AND AFTER 2 FULL YEARS I FIND IT WHILE ON A TRANSFORMER BINGE!!!! It was so obvious I just couldn't remember anything but the beginning and a single verse. Thank you TransMY for helping me remember this song and a epic movie.

Honestly the saddest part in this movie was the killing of Ratchet, hell I was almost in tears and it somewhat shows the truth of humans that under an excuse we just want to create war so we can even go after our allies for one. :(

I feel like I'm one of few people who actually liked this movie more than the previous ones. This one had better human characters (no more obnoxious and annoying Sam Witwicky and his parents, thank god!), the Autobots had more character than the previous ones (Hound, Drift and Crosshairs were so cool!), the action felt more bigger and intense to me than the other films, Optimus Prime was much more developed IMO (it was really heartbreaking to see him all broken at the beginning, having been hunted down by those Cemetery Wind jerks, and all he could think about was "My Autobots, they're in danger", which made it so sad), Lockdown was a badass villain, and it was a fun movie for me.
I did have some criticisms though, such as Galvatron being a weak character compared to when he was Megatron in the other films (with the exception of his last line in the movie "We shall meet again, Prime. For I am reborn!"), the Decepticons are still not given any respect or memorability onscreen, and some human characters ike Shane and Tessa are very irritating (with Tessa being a dumbass who complains about everything, and Shane being an all-around jerk when he says things like "Hey, I'm not here to save your daughter. You're here to save my girlfriend." Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Su Yueming and Sophia Miles were the only tolerable human characters for me.
And that overall is my short review on Transformers: Age of Extinction.
