I personally try to not drop anything down inside the door itself because it can rattle depending on what it is. Probably won’t rattle in the frame regardless I wouldn’t do that nor would I like seeing one of my employees do that. With that said good job on the install. Thanks for sharing.

Nice video. That mickey mouse drill you were using at first wasn't gettin' the job done eh?! Maybe also try using some dedicated bits rather than the interchangeable bits on the 12 foot adaptor. Thanks for sharing the video! Gave me a nice trick with cutting into the bottom laterally to get a piece out so you can do the vertical cut ;)

This install was at a government facility where they still required masks even after Covid was on the let down. As you may notice I wasn’t wearing it “properly” at times lol

What gauge wire do you use to extend the door strike wires?
I use 18g thermostat wire
We run 18/2 stranded for our door strikes.
What manufacturer of blades do you use?
I’ve only tried Milwaukee, Dremel, Diablo and Ryobi blades. Dremel has worked the best for me in this application.
