Yeah also remember Reiner and them being impressed by how fast Eren was able to master the hardening ability. Safe to assume Eren can now do atleast everything every other shifter can.
And the fact tht reiner moved his entire conciousness throughout his body just so he could survive Levi stabbing his neck. They got some serious titan surviving tech for sure.
The biggest point of this episode imo is to show the juxtaposition of the warrior children with young Eren/Armin/Mikasa. At the end of the day, they were all kids trying to do what they thought was right. Reiner wanted to save humanity and atone for the “sins of the Eldians” by beating the “island devils”, and reunite with his dad. Similarly, Eren and them want to save the world from the titans. I wish they included the whole scene in the manga as to how Reiner, Annie, and Bertholdt actually got to the wall. Eren telling Falco about those who "keep moving forward" after Reiner told him exactly that in the flashback when he gave Eren his hand to pick him up.
Marcel apologized to Reiner because his life is now reduced and have only 13 years to live. Poor Reiner grew up in a fanatic family and truly saw it an honour to crush the “island devils” and deep in the “atone for our sins” propaganda so he didn’t understand why Marcel was apologizing.
16:50 I was satisfied w/ that Eren reveal reaction. It put a smile on my face. My first time watching, I recognized Eren in ep 2 of season 4, about 10 min in, he's on a 2nd floor balcony, watching Reiner and the young warrior candidates. I knew it was him b/c his hair probably grew, they put an emphasis on his back, being out of focus, and his POV on Reiner. I had no idea it was Eren in the lineup of PTSD Eldian soldiers, and overlooked his misplacement of the Eldian armband, on his right arm instead of left, which was a clue. In ep 3, when I saw him sitting on the same bench as Falco, and heard his voice, I knew it was Eren immediately. The green eye reveal at the end confirmed it. I've seen some reactors (RT TV) completely overlook that scene, and not realize it was Eren. That can be fun too.
Not remembering names even though it's non-Japanese is one thing but not remembering important details like Zeke has royal blood , the significance of armband colour, I suggest rewatching the past episodes
The entire convo with Eren is so brilliant and true to his character. He was torn about his duty and yet same time afraid that he will be forced to kill innocents. He is same as Reiner.
One thing I hate about this episode with reactors is that no one EVER pays attention to what he's saying. Which I don't mind anyways, but what he says is cold hard truth and it resonates hard with former military and idk it just sucks when it's overlooked cuz "OMG iS tHaT eReN?!" 🙄.... but nice reaction
That's a running theme with a lot of AoT reactions. People get distracted by other things so that they don't realize certain meanings and motivations that are happening.
In the 3rd episode of the 4th season, we got to learn about what was really going on when Reiner and company destroyed the wall. Did you know that there was actually a scene all the way back in season 1, episode 2 showing that Annie had infiltrated past the wall? It was cut out of your reaction video, but at around the 8:23 mark of season 1, episode 2, you should be able to see Annie receiving rations. Details like this really remind you of how amazing the anime is.😲😲😲
The story The man told them before hanging himself Was the same “cover story” Bert told Eren and armin in Season 1 just so no one would ask questions about where they came from
Now, the last scene from Season 3 (part 1), makes sense: Reiner sitting in the wall next to a grown-up Marcel (not Bertholdt). His "ghost", in his split personality, was still with him this whole time.
This is an amazing episode especially for Reiner's character. The armband being on the wrong side previously was the first giveaway for me and then as soon as he spoke this episode "That's definitely Eren". I love how you immediately acknowledged that you didn't listen to anything he said at first lol. His choice of words is very important.
I would prefer that the show had made this Eren scene here less detailed, so as not to let the viewer know who this guy is, because the moment when he goes to talk to Reiner and then confirms that he is Eren is an amazing plot twist, it's a moment of identity revelation much better than here. My mom didn't realize Eren was this guy here, only when he talked to Reiner, and the surprise moment was really priceless for her. I think the show did it wrong here, but maybe if the girl in the right didn't say it was Eren in disguise, maybe they would not pay attention to him, but the problem was the show, not the viewer, it's way better to see this guy many times and being clueless about who he is and then discovering he is Eren than knowing who he is so early.
That first scene with Reiner and Porco when their were kids show how far Reiner was ready to go. When an Eldian is recognized as a traitor him and his entire family are sent to Paradis as mindless titan, that means that when Reiner accused Porco in front everyone to be part of the rebellion out of despair, he also threaten his brother Marcel and his parents, now you guys know one of the reasons why Porco hated Reiner before the mission.
@@sgcastle8389 I understand his resentment for Reiner because of his brother's death and etc, but before that Porco was just a cocky who liked to took the weakest person in the group to bully.
Sure but why did Porco hate Reiner even before Reiner accused him?
@@vindifference That wasn't hate that was at most being condensending, also he was right Reiner was the worst candidate so he needed to stop dreaming.
@@sgcastle8389 I understand his resentment for Reiner because of his brother's death and etc, but before that Porco was just a cocky who liked to took the weakest person in the group to bully. I mean, I like Galliard bro, but like all the other characters he has his flaws too and one of those flaws is that he's cocky(even today he is still kinda like that).
@@itachi2816 he was Cocky yes, but a bully? No i don't follow you on this, he never hurt or talk shit to Reiner until this episode, it was maybe distasteful but he wasn't wrong. Reiner threaten Porco's family when accused him of being a rebel, that was too far.
15:55 - Eren easily picked up that Falco was doing this all for a girl.
I wonder why...
16:57 when you realise you not gonna get to understand the last part cuz the screamin 😭😭😂😂😂
"Keep moving forward" -Reiner to Eren
Around 16:50 warning for all earphone users they didn’t warn us but lower your volumes for a bit
first of all, great reaction and second no offense to you guys it certainly is entertaining to see your reactions to the stuff happening but i wish that you could have also focused more on the dialogues (idk maybe you guys did idk i'm sorry if i assume that way because it looks like it from my POV) of the characters and the emotional parts....i might sound like i'm asking to take the reactions very seriously no, it's just this series is story heavy and very emotional i'm aware you guys are far away now in the season but uh yeah Great reaction still and that scream nearly broke my eardrums hahaha!
In the next video, could you turn up the volume of the series?? , is that the voices overshadow it a bit and I think it should be more balanced. very good video greetings.
I actually had to tell my mom that was Eren she didn't catch it when we watched it. She thanked me after episode 4 because that would have been even crazier to not have known.
The girl on the left + the rest of us viewers didn't get the headphone warning during the eren's reveal
16:50 HAHAHAA the poor guy's ears xD
16:52 🤣🤣 classic fan girl synchronized scream in its purest form
They are getting worse, they don't listen at all, talking about something. Only Dany understands what is going on right now.
Also , Eren's monologue this episode was an amazing one, my favorite ever in AoT
16:50 man got jump scared in real life
Keep in mind that the studio only had like 6-8 months to animate s4 part 1
To those who knew his voice actor weren't really surprise as soon as the man spoke a work.. but man.. that's just so hype
16:50 broke everyones eardrums.
And EXCUSE me Mr... Annie's the BEST, & she's a SWEETHEART! How DARE you call my WAIFU FOR LAIFU MEAN!!! I suggest you WATCH HER OVA'S to KNOW HER!!! Annie's the FEMALE VERSION OF LEVI.
😂😭 cringe kid this is your life? you're so pathetic lmao
Knowing that Ymir has been a pure titan so long that she lost all those qualities as a Jaw titan... ☹️
lmao their reaction during the Eren reveal
I really enjoyed watching your reaction channel, I'm happy to see you guys smile💖🥰
Why are they fixated on that guy being Armin? Armin is blond or did they forgot about it?
12:25 A question to be answered in the second part of the season finale
Alright it’s VERY important to know that Reiner continued the mission (genocide) bc of his OWN selfish desire!!!! You’ll understand it further on. Also, THANK YOU for noticing that Dina IGNORED BERTOLDT!!!! VERY WEIRD!!!!
Erens actions
Desires or not he would've been punished, he really had no other choice
Don't miss the post credit scenes guys!
They watched this like a month ago
15:57 when a quick joke turns out to be the truth xD
Happy B-Day Morgan! Greetings from Guatemala... 🥂☺️
They Kept the Same Hairstyle Their Hall Lives😂
No headphone warning Rip the noobs 🥺😅
OH NO, I thought it turned it down enough ): Alex was also affected by our screams IRL LMAO - Dani
Reiner also got beaten by Sasha before, but there was no blood on that part.
Sasha is a true kind
At this point of the story, you're not supposed to wish the gang to each get Titans x)
That litteraly means they'll all die young x)
Yeah I thought it was incredibly dumb also
"Why did she walk right by him?"
Good question
If u realise..... Eren was seated next to the tree....which symbolised the founding titan.....all paths return to him
These guys are no way near smart enough to think of that
Eren character development goes into another level starting from now. Found him kinda annoying in the early seasons and now hes my favorite because of this season.
I've always like and appreciated Eren's character, so I am definitely excited to see how else our boy develops (╯✧▽✧)╯ - Dani
"Why did she walk by him?" PepeLaugh
lmaooo same
👀 *confused* -Sam
Hehe they don't know...
@@TheReactPack oh you sweet summer child...lol
Hacksayama at it again
Now that I’m rewatching it with u guys it seems like the guy holding the newspaper could be Jean
I mean obviously it was jean
"It's too late to change, so I'll keep moving forward."
I feel like the green haired girl has watched this before or seen spoilers...
She 100% has she probably watches alot of anime and was probably spoiled through youtube recommendations or through videos talking about anime like those top 10 things. Honestly I just think she watched it though do to the fact she gets excited before a hype moment
That speech is so fcking important
00:00 Kiyomi-Udo encounter tiiime
I dont remember anyt---oh and gun/flashback.
13:23 why why
Bertholdt...hanged man's pose...
I love y’all’s reaction to Eren 😭😭😭 There’s going to be a lot more of Eren and I can’t wait 🤣🤣
fun story. Porco means PIG in Portuguese
At first it was just a Titan killing show.
If by NOW ye STILL don't know why the WARRIORS are doing this... then yer LOST.
smart thinking, that small cute girl guessed it faster then anyone of YT reactors. I noticed she emerges the most into anime in this team, she beat me ez in recognizing Eren, though in my defense, in manga by its nature is harder to guess this things bcs u read fast (at least, me)
3 seasons of hearing Eren’s voice and they can’t recognize it right away? Bruh… 👁👄👁
13 years to be a hero. Hero is the name of the epiode bertholt was caught and eventually killed
This is definitely the most underrated AOT episode
Can't believe they just skipped Annie's OVA. it's no wonder they still think Annie is just mean and crazy
yeah sometimes it’s good to keep quiet and listen to the voices and read the captions….
Lol broooo didn’t even hear Erens final monologue too busy talking. Guess that’s why they don’t ever understand anything going on
I dont know but the guy on the left looks like the guy who does some fun science experiments on fb.
I love that you guys caught that it was Eren, i missed it my first time. Great watching you all.
The arm bands signify whether their marleyan or eldian. Yellow=eldian Red=Marleyan... gotchu guys
You're wrong, grey = eldians, yellow = warrior candidates , red = warrior or related to one
@@LuisFelipeSOADD oh yea ur right, i completely forgot about the white arm bands!
@@LuisFelipeSOADD but red doesnt mean your a warrior, that would make the yellow one obsolete. Red means they are an eldian who has become an official Marleyan. Doesnt mean they are warriors or related to one :)
I wish I hadn't known about Eren's 'hobo' appearance before watching for the first time, since I immediately knew it was him lol.
