"I can tell this isn't gonna go my way, but damnit I can't lie I really like apples"
Hahahhahaa 😂
Lmaooooo
"cuz BOY do I like apples" lol
I opened the video on the only hope to find this comment 😅
I skipped the commercial
Louis CK made such a good comedy routine off this scene.
that's why i'm here too lol. This scene kinda makes me hate Matt Damon
That brought me here three!
do you like apples?... yeah... wkwkwk...
😂 faf
cant watch this movie without thinking of louis bit now
Best line in the whole movie apart from this one:
“My boy’s wicked smaat.”
We always do the "It's not your fault...It's not your fault😢😢😢😢"
i was just watching the other bar scene clip and i thought just that. i had to go back atleast twice and recite his line to myself a few times cuz of how catchy he says it
nah, i like RW last one “…son of a b*tch, he stole my line”
One of the best lines is "my favorite part of the day is when I walk to your front door to pick you up and I hope your gone not a word or a good bye just gone "
“You’re an idiot.” Excellent opening line for a relationship. Robin Williams was such a gift to us all. He said “be kind. Always” as you never know ow what the other person is dealing with. Words to live by.
Guys can be idiots yes
@@MohammadAliKhalilcan? We are idiots, and that is beautiful.
It felt like House MD for a moment
“Do you like bananas? Cause, the girl gave me her telephone number and… isn’t THAT bananas?”
For non-English speaker: “How do you like them apples” is an expression that supposedly originated during the first World War, when the Allies' anti-tank grenade was colloquially called a “toffee apple” because of its bulb-like appearance on a stick. The phrase was a taunt against the enemy
Thank you so much
Thanks!
I speak English and I didn't know this lol
That’s so stupid though
Nobody likes sitting next to you at parties
Omg Louis made it sound LESS stupid than it actually is
Louis forgot to mention how insane it is that a gorgeous woman walks up to him and says “you’re an idiot, I’ve been waiting all night for you to talk to me. Anyway here’s my number.”
Absolutely not impossible if you are a very hot guy, seems completely unrealistic if you're average, sure.
Ever see the video of her in real life picking her nose and eating it?
It used to be on RUclips.
I'm not making this up.
lol I was going to say the same, the chances someone like this would just walk up to a guy and be that assertive is almost 0, but yes not impossible
She's a 5 at best
This movie is obviously too smart for you😂. Stick to PBS and DCOM
"I get in fights. I get in so many fights."
“Also, I’m a genius.”
Personal opinion: the greatest and funniest line in this movie is,
“I swallowt a bug…”
In the sequel, the intellectual face-off is revisited, but this time the posh guy is ready and wins.
Damon and Affleck promptly open fire on the guy.
true
applesauce b****
Gus Van Sant is a true artist.
what if he didnt like apples?
It helps that Matt Damon wrote the movie.
Well he could have said you like that pretty lady from before bam here is her number. How do you like those apples B?

Such an iconic line, even though I didn't see the movie until recently, I always quoted this line anyway!
People have always been saying that, this movie didn't invent it.
@@nunyabusiness7056No one said it did
@@blackguyofthesouth2161 but it was implied you ugly rube.
Technically that Michael Bolton clone got her number too after Matt Damon showed it to him
Yeah but it's useless if she's not keen for him to call.
Oh yeah he gonna be real fun, talking about his great insight into the southern colonies all after the fact because Matt Damon's character already read those books.
@@Wolfsbane909 🤣
OH HOOOOOOOOO! YOU WERE READY WITH THAT!
He should have said, "Hey, 555, it's fake."
My 3rd Grade teacher used this line back in 95, I took me 30 years to realize where she got it from.
The move produced in 1997
"Well, Now so do I.
Thanks"
D-do you, uh, do you like...bananas?
I was in graduate school in applied math in Cambridge during this the time of this movie. I studied from the time I got up to the time I went to bed. I never - ever - went to a bar and I know that if someone who is antagonizing you asks if you like apples, you say no.
The joke still works if he says no.
Came here to see if Louis was exaggerating. He wasn’t. He may have made a modest portrayal actually
There are so many great and wonderful lines in these films. This one in particular makes me laugh a lot 😄
Is one of the best movie quotes ever
Always love the apples scene lol
If you're reading this, I also came here after watching Louis CK's brilliant piece on this 😂
😀😛
I think when Skylar goes over to talk to Will it’s supposed to be like Sean’s story about the baseball game. If Skylar had waited for Will to talk to her they would have never met each other. We all know Will wouldn’t have gone over to her. She chose to take a chance and talk to him even though she could’ve got rejected. That’s the point to this story is that Will is afraid to take risks because he’s afraid things will go bad before even giving it a shot
The impractical jokers Q bit based on this scene is hilarious😂
*memorizing the number as quick as possible*
Lmao oh man the nostalgia 😂😂😂
Isn't this bananas?
Dont tell him that 555 numbers are fake. 🤣
So good to see Louis CK again. This country needs him.
I still catch myself as a 2003 baby saying "how do ya like them apples" every once in a while lmao
“Do you like apples?”
“No.”
“…”
Chuckie....it's hunting season!
“Or maybe we could just get together and eat a bunch of carrots”
How do you like them … donuts?
Such a great movie
apples LOL
DAMN RIGHT
“How do you like them apples?” 😂
Can somebody tell me the name of song..?? I really like it
One of my favorite scenes in the movie!
such a legendary comment
It really is that simple guys. Truth
Excellent Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and Robin Williams movie. One of my top five favorite movies of 1997 (along with Titanic, Donnie Brasco, Men in Black, and Air Force One for instance), along with Matt Damon (like Saving Private Ryan, The Departed, The Martian, and Ford vs. Ferrari for instanc), Ben Affleck (like Shakespeare in Love, Argo, The Town, and Gone Girl for instance), and Robin Williams (like Good Morning Vietnam, Dead Poets Society, The Fisher King, and Mrs. Doubtfire for instance). Also, the "How do you like them apples?" is definitely my favorite line by Matt Damon in that film. Also, I would recommend Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange if you can upload it, along with the new Black Adam movie with Dwayne Johnson, See No Evil, Hear No Evil with Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor, Mobsters with Christian Slater, Tequila Sunrise with Mel Gibson, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Kurt Russell, Paul Verhoeven's Starship Troopers, the first Gremlins movie, and those two Quentin Tarantino flicks (like Django Unchained with Jamie Foxx and The Hateful Eight for instance).
I didn't like the first Men in Black, the villain ruined it for me
R u having a mental breakdown?!
It's a bot not a real person.
Minnie Driver in her prime… oh my!!!
Jokes on Will because he just gave that guy her number too
Dammit, I really like apples...
Cooked him at the end💀
It’s an iconic line but seriously, what was his plan if he said no?
Do you like bananas?
Cause I got her number, isn't that bananas?
Lol so that's where Futurama got that line from
and Skunkfoo too!
You like apples?
Yeah well I got a number, how do you like them apples 😂
Thats a great scene. 😂😂😂
I’m can tell this isn’t going to go my way lol
Here because of the GOAT: Louis C.K.
I am here thanks to the CK Lewis joke 😅
Nobody cares
@@blackguyofthesouth2161 I do
CK Lewis goes hard
Louis CK 😂
boy do i like apples
A girl gave me her number and I'm going on a date with her this Saturday, I just had to watch this scene.
My friends and myself when where together
I’m here because of Louie CK ;-)
what if he didn't like apples?
She was absolutely perfect for this part. Much like Claire Forlani was in “Meet Joe Black.” Perfect casting.
😂😂😂
We are through
Came here for Louis CK routine hahaha 😂😂😂😂
This line also in chowder episode
What if the guy would've said "no" ?
Then what??? :(
I’m here because of Louie CK 😂
No?.....do you bananas then?....cause she gave me her number and that's ....like.....bananas right?
I got her number, isn't that bananas?
Tbh they dragged it out a bit much. They should've left that dude alone after Will put him in his place at the bar lol
It’s something youth adults do.
Only in pie
did you guys re-upload this cause of Louis?
They dragged Elliott smith into this lmao
canèt rewatch that scence without bursting laughing remembering Louis CK's it
He was right, this is actually pretty frustrating
I remember watching this when it came out, and thought the "Do you like apples" line was the stupidest thing ever. Then saw Louis CK's stand up making fun of this, and now it makes it tolerable.
I got her number too....not telephone 🙂
I’m here because of Louie CK
I didn’t skip the add🚬
Well I gadder numbah
caramel latte best of both worlds
That line has to be the most reetawdehd line in cinema history. Wow. 🤯
I swallowed a bug
Caramel rizz
I got her numba.
How did he know the guy liked apples? Even if the realistic response to that dumb question is "wtf are you talking about ya goofball"
Plot twist - hey memorized the number when it was against the glass and ends up cucking Good Will Hunting after all
Pierre for PM!
Louis CK brought me here.
ok, so i see many of us are here 'cause louis sent us. niice
Do not mention my name again
Louie CK brought me here
Do you know cheer cheek Charlie and if this channel is ran by you Charlie please post on your cheer Channel again
Well me I would have remembered the number call her up and be like look you shouldn’t be dating a guy who be showing your number to me and 2-3 other friends of mine, I know I started off real bad let me make it up to you let’s say tomorrow at the same bar when I first saw you. Then see the guy and say yes I like apples apple pie that is.
No
Who is here because of Louis CK?
here because of Louis
I like Louis CK's rendition of this scene better.
