    When you are using anti spark XT plugs into an ESC with multiple power input plugs, you only have to go slow on the first. Once the first is plugged in, the capacitors are charged and at battery voltage. So no spark for the other two.

      Thank you. The controller is not from them it is a VESC 250/100 from Trampaboards.com. About Freerchobby i purchased 2 motors from them and for me they were very responsive. Fast delivery. They modified one motor for me and when i tested it had a bearing noise so in a week i received a full set of bearings. Also all payments go thru PayPal so you have buyer protection

    FreeRC have quote very high power numbers... but very low weights. How did it go under a rated 15kW load? I suspect they'll only do 1/2 of what they are rated for before heating up too much. How did it end out?

    • @imperialsecuritybureau6037
      @imperialsecuritybureau6037 2 года назад

      I would also very much like to know this! If the rated performance is limited by heat though, there’s a simple solution: mount some fans next to it! A few 12v, 3a fans or the type you get for car radiators would certainly give enough cooling. Maybe it wouldn’t even need that much.

    Hi, great informative video with added 'new box/toy' appeal! :o)
    I have a question: You connect the batteries in series but then have three VESC connectors -am I right this is just so the VESC has the possibility to parallel up batteries if needed but in this config you are just connecting all three power inputs across the series output of the three batteries -i.e. 66.6V is going into each of the VESC Power inputs. Also whats the max power of this setup and have you tested to 25KW (I think this may be a burst power rating and real world is about half that continuous no?)

    Given that your 3 battery connectors are all in parallel both on the battery side and the vesc side, it is only the first 'anti-spark plug' that you connect that is doing the 'anti-spark'. After this first connector is attached, all the others are already at the same potential and you can connect them immediately.

      I am aiming to run the motor on a 22s battery pack but i am shure it will work with 24s. I have been runing higher voltage on other motors than their ratings and worked just fine. As long as you keep them cool. Of course the wear and tear is bigger especialy on bearings. But any motor can work at higher voltage as loong as it is cool. It will spin faster. The ratings for this motor is maximum 100v. It is up to you if you want to runn it at higher voltage
