Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal on Thursday submitted a formal complaint to the Delhi Police on her allegations of misbehaviour and assault against a close aide of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal. The former DCW chairperson recorded her statement before the police.
This came after a team of the Delhi Police was at her house for more than four hours in connection with the alleged assault on her at Kejriwal’s residence, officials said. Led by additional commissioner of police PS Kushwaha, the team went to Maliwal’s residence around 1.50 pm to seek details of the incident, they said.
