Brent when are you getting back to the GMC roadster?
Just finishing up the 54 quick to get some road miles on er then be back on the gmc.
I double dated with a friend from high school who had a ‘54 hardtop with three on the tree. Returning to the car with our dates it would not turn over. I pushed it all over the parking lot while he popped the clutch but it wouldn’t start. He finally walked to a phone booth and called his dad. The first thing his dad asked was “did you check the cable to the starter?” We looked at each other while he crawled under the front in and said “try it now.” Started right up!! Our dates were impressed….. with his dad!😂
Hehe
Love this car!!!
Brent you and Carl have fun together that's great to see 2 men without egos.
Great to see Ryder coming into his own , laughing , smiling, talking and hanging with the big boys . We need to see more of him ..........and his projects . Oh yeah Brent, you and Karl did O.K. too. Thanks Guys

The 54 ❤... One of my favorite build. Karl thank you for working on that car. . look at the fenders many men worked on that car and we gotta keep that car alive .. let's get a 4 link and a nos bottle on'er and tune that baby to the moon and put a Ford 9 in rear end on that gogetter moonshine runner!
2 extra biscuits for Buddy and Pablo!!😊
The 54 is such a sweeet ride , It looks good standing still , and looks great in motion . Karl is the kind of friend every man should have , he fits in so well with the surroundings and his laughter matches yours so perfectly . Thank you both and all the members in the shop for this update . Stuart in Ontario ..

Oh Yea Burnout time Digging it Thanks for sharing
Hey brent ,Like the Chevy
..Ralph
Good video
Glad you learned to like the Jaguar front suspension. I started working for Jag in 88 and retired from there about 5 years ago. That suspension was used in cars capable of 140mph and even more. It will be interesting to see if the shock mounts clear on on bump. I remember you working on that one in the little garage after the fire. I bet it feels spoilt in it's swanky new surroundings. All the best, Mart in England.
Thanks for the video. Another cool car.
Hi Brent, I’m sure Pablo is asking to drive the 54, he’s trying to squeeze you out. Great to see you all. Hello Esther too.
Thanks for sharing 😀👍
'smoke wrench' haha you have a seriously cool place there mate !!
good show like always thanks😎👍
Man the car sounds great, all ways a fun time when karl stops buy.
I like Karl's comment about the idle!!
I hope the coolant didn't damage the main or rod bearings.
Nah oil pressure rocks and it didn't get driven much.
What a blast 🙌 wrench 🔧 with friends and a great time cruising all the relics and swapping at the meat 🍖 😀 munchies in auto cruse outs❤🎉😂
I really like the 54, great cruiser! I like them better than tri-5s!
Mint thanks Brent
Thanks for sharing, always interesting
Brent, if you've "loved" the Jag XJ's front calipers, you'll love even more the rear one (inboard brakes : really fun)
That is some long dirt roads lol. I love the 54
Most definitely head gasket problem.😊😊 4:41
Like watching your videos as it takes me back to my job, only problem every so often I get twitchy fingers, you know like when your wife is driving and you keep braking a pedal that’s not there.
That is a great car!
I had a 55 Chev, but the post 54 looks just a little better.
Nice exhaust note
Too bad you and karl dont live closer to one another it looks like you two work well togather !
Excellent video Brent :) , Karl :) , Ryder :) , Pablo :) , Buddy :) , also all work on 1954 Car , yes sometimes something go as planned and other ones got have diagrams how work on from internet! I know myself found need information, instructions and how do it too in steps! That how things work for me Brent and be challenging too at times!
Pablo looks like he wants to drive this one,
Man, that is a cool car, always love those Early Chevys. Might just build my own some day 53 or 54.
Hi Brent you got to say I love that 54. Sell your buddy Carl there he looks like Eddie Munster, pretty cool dude pretty cool
Its all good as time is something no one has much more. Short summers and long winters... might think insulation now
I always found Seafoam worked Really well
I LIKE IT !!!!
I'm the same model year as your car. Had a few thing removed and replaced as well.
Dammit Brent, now you have Karl touching everything under the hood!
Thanks!
Thanks a lot man.
Funny about parts on a Jag. Had to rebuild the alternator on Ambassador Lils Jag at a generic electrical shop. After tearing it down had all of the parts in stock. This was in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Alternator was under the a/c compressor but slid out between the frame and the center link with a tweak from a pry bar of about 1/8". R&R of the actual alternator was about 20 minutes. Too bad she was a helicopter customer, otherwise it was an easy job. This was in 1990. Think the Jag was a 70s F type.
Well, you hook up that turbo that thing looks like a awesome sleeper
Yes Sir!!!
Good tunes!
I love that car ! Thanks for another , Brother !
It takes a deft hand to pour anti-freeze straight into the hose without spilling a drop!
