You should watch Robert Welsh. He is a make up artist to the stars. He is fabulous. I think the problem people have with this video is that her foundation is about 10 shades darker than her natural face skin tone. That is kind of a no-no Make up 101. It works for her, but you won't see many make up artists or seasons people who wear make up go that route.

When I am in a rush i just do my eyes ( eyeshadow, mascara or lashes) and some liostick. I just skip the whole face part ( exceot for skincare ofcourse)
Daizie Maningding well I have rosasea and hyperpigmentation but if I want to cover that I have to put on A LOT of face makeup so I rather just put the emphasis on my eyes.

If you notice in the beginning that her face is way lighter than her neck and arms, she probably uses a self tanner on her body and just uses a darker foundation to match her neck. It is crazy what makeup can do. ;)
I thought that too, but then I realized her neck is the same colour as her face once she has the make up on. If she's fair like me, NO MATTER WHAT I DO, my face is ALWAYS whiter than the rest of my body. The thing that DID bother me, though, were her lower lashes...they looked very "pin-up" - I hate when my lashed look like that. But to each their own! :)

Tried to do this exact routine in 5 mins. 😂🤣😂 Took me 16 mins. I'm still trying to get used to blending out liquid foundation & concealer. I switched from Cover Girl powder foundation (which I have used for the last 21ish years lol) to Too Faced Born This Way liquid foundation and their concealer and I definitely can't do it quickly yet. Maybe it's my cheap beauty blenders fault?? I'm going to keep practicing--- who would have thought at age 35 I'd be entirely reinventing my make-up routine. Gotta be honest though... I feel like the Too Faced concealer isn't doing favors for my fine/tiny under eye wrinkles. Almost feel like the powder foundation alone blurred those out better. But again- I'm still practicing with this new stuff.

@@laurabeth7755 Yeah I think you're right... I learned about cover girl powder foundation from my mom, who STILL uses it at age 62 (and she looks good without all of the liquid things haha). She also uses a small amount of concealer on her under eyes before she applies the powder foundation... but honestly her makeup looks full coverage and doesn't get cakey when it gets hot... I never thought to try and fix what wasn't broken until I started watching you tube tutorials. Thought maybe it was time to give liquid makeup a try--- but I don't know that it looks better... I'm still giving it a try, but the heat of summer is making me look kind of gross by the end of the work day. I'm starting to miss my light weight powder foundation haha.

Your skin was beautiful without it, very light and your BB cream turned tinted it yellow. It's my main beef with makeup right now is how frequently make-up does that screw-up. I cannot believe how quickly you can do that all, I'm super impressed!! Great video!!
When I do my five minute makeup, it's just blush, one swipe shimmer eyeshadow, mascara, and lipgloss. Maybe some highlight in the inner corner if I have time.
Ok, I liked one vid that I watched (wedding day makeup) and was impressed but with this one, she's just showing off lol. I had to subscribe and binge watch this goddess!
If you watch any of her other videos or follow her she almost always has self tanner on her body to give her color but not on her face. So that’s why she has a much lighter skin tone in comparison to the rest of her body. Then that allows her to apply darker to match with make up. 😊

I have never seen someones foundation go on so flawless & with such ease, So jealous !!! Also people commenting on her foundation shade clearly don’t know anything???? I don’t know if her face is less tan / she spray tans, but your supposed to match your neck!! She matched it flawlessly if she would’ve put a different colour she would look like a ghost with a super tan body? She also snatched with her concealer, it all came together so nice!

Seems I’m a little late to the game in this one 😂 being this video was posted 3 years ago..but yesterday afternoon I was scrolling through RUclips and decided to look up a makeup tutorial (since I’m getting a little older and it’s time to do more beyond just slapping foundation on my hands and wiping it on my face 😬) that being said, as you were making the video I was simultaneously going to ulta and filling my cart 🤣 I’ve received so many compliments in two days concerning how amazing and young 😉 I look. Thanks for the video. Side notes, that mascara duo is legit 💯💖 best mascara ever. Also I was unable to get the CC cream from IT because it contains gluten (which I realized when I was in line to check out) so I quick just ran and picked up a similar color in ELF because it was closest to the register, and let’s face it super affordable. Still looks amazingly on point 🌟🎊🎊💖💖💖

When I do my five minute makeup, it's just blush, one swipe shimmer eyeshadow, mascara, and lipgloss. Maybe some highlight in the inner corner if I have time.

Out of curiosity, why do you do such a dramatic color change from your natural skin tone to what you put on it?

My guess is she self tans but not on her face. Her foundation color choice matches her neck, which is the correct way to color match.
I thought the same Thing at first but if you notice it totally matched her neck and body. You don’t want a pale face with tan body
If you watch any of her other videos or follow her she almost always has self tanner on her body to give her color but not on her face. So that’s why she has a much lighter skin tone in comparison to the rest of her body. Then that allows her to apply darker to match with make up. 😊
Its to match her neck because she probably doesn't tan/spray tan past her neck because its bad for ur face with the sun or even spray tan chemicals

I have never seen someones foundation go on so flawless & with such ease, So jealous !!! Also people commenting on her foundation shade clearly don’t know anything???? I don’t know if her face is less tan / she spray tans, but your supposed to match your neck!! She matched it flawlessly if she would’ve put a different colour she would look like a ghost with a super tan body? She also snatched with her concealer, it all came together so nice!

Seems I’m a little late to the game in this one 😂 being this video was posted 3 years ago..but yesterday afternoon I was scrolling through RUclips and decided to look up a makeup tutorial (since I’m getting a little older and it’s time to do more beyond just slapping foundation on my hands and wiping it on my face 😬) that being said, as you were making the video I was simultaneously going to ulta and filling my cart 🤣 I’ve received so many compliments in two days concerning how amazing and young 😉 I look. Thanks for the video. Side notes, that mascara duo is legit 💯💖 best mascara ever. Also I was unable to get the CC cream from IT because it contains gluten (which I realized when I was in line to check out) so I quick just ran and picked up a similar color in ELF because it was closest to the register, and let’s face it super affordable.
