Let's be real. Learning to code is not for everyone. But yes, learning to code can be very lucrative. To be self taught is pretty tough. It typically takes someone who has everything to lose and or a strong intellectual curiosity for how computers work.
I tried to teach myself a few times, but it wasn't till I had separation orders in my hand and my wife was pregnant that enabled me to take it serious enough to get my first job.
Like you it took me from entry level swd making okay money to only a few years later making well into 6 figures.
To anyone else watching this, it is worth it. These are the motivations I had, and I'm sure it can be done with less if you are more focused.

Thanks brotha! You the mannnn! ✌🏻❤️💪🏻

So funny that I've had that video idea written down for a while and was going to make it a month back when Co-pliot was all that news on RUclips. All I could think was how many times can I use the "They took our jobs!" from southpark in this video. Honestly I don't think you have anything to worry about. People were saying all this stuff 5 years ago when I was learning how to code. Truth is there's a lot of jobs and a lot of work out there and there's plenty of room for everyone to get a piece of the pie imo.

I've spent a month building a trello lookalike with react/redux/firebase, i succeeded, and still didn't get hired at my last unpaid internship. I've spent most of my life jumping from careers. Working in private labs as an analyst, teaching science, exploring the police & military jobs, working offshore as a field engineer, working for Amazon, and now working in the NHS training to become a Biomedical Scientist...but I hate it. I'm currently a biomedical support worker, been doing my BMS trainee portfolio, but I've been hating the whole process and I know going for that job will make me miserable. I basically have no life and work lots of weekends and horrible shift hours too. The department is horrible right now and everybody is miserable.
I've had enough, I have the skills and experience to teach myself how to code, and that's exactly what I'm going to do. I've started my new path. I think my family and friends think I'm a bit crazy, but I'm more determined than ever to succeed. And that drive. That pure motivational energy I have will help me progress with my coding journey. The future is exciting!

Always remember to repent of your sins (sin is transgression of YAHUAH The Father In Heaven’s LAW: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, & Deuteronomy) And Have Belief On Yahusha The Messiah. HE Died and Rose three days later so that you can be forgiven of your sins!
HE Loves you! Come to HIM🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
