Very true Rajat. When we like our Buddy as our child, it is impossible to think of causing harm, pain, torture etc. They are also like Buddy. They laugh, cry, have pain, have tremendous emotions. If each of the meat eaters were to go to slaughter house, see the pain of dying animals, then the " human" inside us will not let us to eat someone which was killed just to satisfy our " tongue" ... My suggestion...Taste comes from texture and spices. It can be replicated with vegan/ vegetarian ways. Please think!

I never comment on any vlog but your today’s topic on veg non veg, I felt like talking. Rajat your points are valid. I am living here in California from almost 25yrs and never had a issue on food. It depends on our mental strength what we want. At the same time when my kid was in middle or high school, his friends pushed him to eat non veg to get more protein. We didn’t know for the longest time that he started eating non veg. It just makes me sick to the stomach by thinking of killing an animal and eating.

So I was told that the pain plants feel is very subtle but the same pain an animal feels is very strong.. Hence eating plants is better.
I too agree with Rajat's father, Human's intestine are not made to digest meat and it's similar in length to a herbivore!.. The biggest reason why humans are not made to eat animals can be verified with how humans drink water, we (herbivores)slurp water by sipping it where as carnivores drink water by lapping it... At last it's the question of why we are given a title of Human Being when we can't feel the pain of the other beings(Animals) while they are being slaughter for just our taste buds.. Be human go Vegetarian!

I grew up in the US and I saw most of my hindu friends around me(I am not hindu) eating meat because everyone at school was eating it. You mentioned that animals are meant to eat meat because of their teeth. Humans also have 4 K9 teeth. I admire your desire to not kill animals. My thought is to respect the animal that died to feed me and not waste any of that meat. I am against hunting unless you are doing it to feed your family and not for sport.
If you really respect animals, stop eating meat. Eating meat directly promotes killing of more animals for your taste buds. Save the planet and animals. 25 percent of greenhouse gas emissions and climate change is due to consumption of animal meat
I do believe the same thing for Vegetarian food habits.

Agree, it’s hard to be completely vegetarian in the US. I would recommend eggs and seafood as an option for your little one when she is old enough to make a dietary choice. That takes cares of the issue for the most part. Red meat is a big no.

Aur isse alg vegetables mein aajkal harmful pesticides use hote hai jo ki apne liye bhot dangerous hai q ki agr vegetables ko acche se wash nhi kro to direct body mein chala jata hai..... What matters more? Diet or being a good human being. Purest of vegetarians can be evil. So many people in west eat non veg but they are very good people. Being militant vegetarian and saying Shilpa should also give up - it’s a useless debate. The same way Rajat you don’t object to Shilpa eating or Buddy Teddy eating (there are many vegetarian dogs in India also) in my view you should leave the decision to the baby. Even in Hinduism, in our family we have our own temple where “bali” is given on special occasions. So this concept that sanatani are vegetarian is wrong. If you study history, Jainism is the religion that promoted vegetarianism and many of them even look down upon non veg eaters which I find reprehensible!

I would suggest you not to introduce non veg until the child is 18 years old (mature adult to take their own decisions logically & morally), Agar apne pehle introduce kar diya non veg, aur agar uske values vegetarian ke favour me ho age Jake to use Puri life guilt rahega ki usne kyu kabhi bhi nonveg consume Kiya.. on the contrary, if you keep her vegetarian, & her thinking aligns with non vegetarian diet, she can turn nonveg whenever she wants, she won't be regretting why her childhood was vegetarian.. but usme shilpaji ke liye hardwork ho jayega.

If you intend to kill or cut a plant, they can sense it & release a trauma response like animals. In garden or jungle, that plant will alert other plants about the incoming danger & trauma.

You are very correct about killing animals & consuming as human food. And your Dad is right about human digestive system - from the teeth to intestines are not made for meat ingestion by nature as against dogs/cats & other wild animals. I was a non veg in my childhood & now fully veg as an adult. My health has greatly improved. I hope some day I will be a vegan.

I know this is your choice, but please raise the child with connection to indian culture aswell or they will become disconnected.
