Shit/Joe here (Based on the day). This is a great, short, perfect explanation of what's going on. The only thing I would add (which is quickly found by playing) is each weapon animation/speed Cannot wait to be chad..... 😢 Thank you Stridah!!!
@StridahsAngels That practice came in handy the other day because I pub stomped a lobby for the first time and went on a 33 killstreak before I died. Of course, the lobby was full of average Joe's and shitters, but still!
Oh I'm a Timmy for sure. Just started playing a few days ago and the only way I can get kills is by stabbing people in the back who are already being 3v1'd lmao. As soon as I get singled out I am as good as dead. Thank you for this video. Gonna focus on just practicing counters for a bit!
Yeah, I am definitely at the veteran level, I was able to beat some Chads, but they were all from luck. I was starting to panick and tried to improvise and read how they play, so I try to gind a solution and switch my fighting style.
Literally the best advice I’ve gotten to play better 🙏 I went from a shitter to a joe after you mentioned don’t worry about anything until you can counter the basics. I still need to work on the others but I’m not losing my weapon after two swings lol
I'm really a shitter that gets chad often because I stopped running into battles blindly and picking them instead. Travel with 2 or 3 in your team and take the rear position against the enemy. Head crack. I gamble mostly in 1 v 1 and it works alot for some reason. I randomly get the blue thing from button mashing. But if a fight is going on and I don't land a single strike out of 3, I will try to run or throw weapons and then run. This also works surprisingly often. Stay alive to fight another day instead of dying to someone who has more skill. I also almost exclusively strike with overheads. I've gotten to the top of the boards with worst weapons in game (the supposedly worst, even though i get top spot) and I learned to throw knives pretty well.
You’ve missed some stuff for the chads us chads will also do over head drags while looking away from the player as soon as that swing comes down we connect it by looking at the player as soon as it’s ready to swing down
@@StridahsAngels before you ban your defence against enemy archers and siege weapons, what the hell is drag and accel and all that shit you said but explained merely half of it
Picked up the game with prime today, thanks for this bud. Currently stuck on being a shitter because I panic and just start blasting. I did try to get into mordhau before and I just got bullied by ugly rag wearing peasants with frying pans. I'm really trying to fight the urge and slow it down and defend but something primal awakens in me when I have a battle axe in my hands. I throw a few wild slashes and overheads, hell, throw my axe and just run in swinging with my fists spamming battle cry the whole time. Something that works really well for me on knight is the special ability with longsword, the mordhau grip overhead, seems to catch people and does a hell of a lot of damage or pretty much kills stamina. I also feel if I had a friend who was into this game I could practice actual 1v1s, there might be a mode for that in chiv, would have to check when I go back on. In mordhau you'd kinda do a emote and could somewhat have a 1v1 with someone in the middle of a battlefield and it would somewhat be respected. I am glad that mentality doesn't seem to be shared in this community. I'm from Buenos Aires and I say kill em all!
I'm a Chiv 1 -Deadliest Warrior Veteran, so I rely more on flanking with a Greatsword, counter slashes and evading strikes instead of using jabs. Also thought after Chiv 1 and the Dark Souls series that I had built up rage resistance, but having Timmys on my team stand in my way and killing me while I 1vX really pisses me off xd
I played since release on Epic, I always loved the game but ended up taking a yesr or so break as my brother gave up, just returned and whils I remember some stuff I'm definitely a shitter, and I was at least top 10 in lobbies before!
Im definitely an average joe but i will still give you chads a fight! An good thing to know when kicked just duck most people will do a swing an oh boy have i made people mad!
I’m basically playing fake it till you make it. Sure I do die a lot but damn is it fun bombarding the enemy with jabs, swings, and overhead over and over and they frantically trying to block each attack
drags etc is cool and all, but the main thing for getting high kills is the roaming player style. and tbh, imo the skilled players should be in the front lines, and not caring about k/d but caring about points and objecives instead.
at 80 i think i just transitioned to level 2 average Joe. im having troubles with recognizing feints in time and countering them. i always end up in the higher part of the score very easily in TO. it feels like i hit a wall but i hope i can evolve.
When ever steam has a sale and chilvary is in that sale the game gets progressively more easy and leveling up is always the best. But once the sale ends it becomes this grueling and over the top sweaty game that alters my life experience
Im gonna be honest... I have no idea what rank I am, and I wonder if anyone can help identify me. I generally place top 5 of my team. I would say I have blocks, and attack timing down super solid, and pretty darn good with counters. Kicks Im pretty good with, and I somewhat recently started really implementing dodges, however many times I forget its a thing and Im not super comfortable with them yet. I honestly genuinely forgot jabs were a thing until tonight and thats partially why Im here. Im not bad, when I hop in duelyard or any normal match, Im generally in the top 5 if not top 3. I don't know, I just know there is so much more I should be taking advantage of, but I never learned.
I’m somewhere between average joe and veteran, maybe a bit closer to veteran, but I only join lobbies that are full of Chads and Veterans (many of the other commenters) and it makes it easier to get better when you play against people that know what they’re doing, if you mess up you find out quick
@@StridahsAngels I know lol… it’s funny to give them a false sense of hope sometimes only to then bring them back to reality! Makes them almost as upset when their mom tell them they’re out of pizza rolls and capri suns!🤣 cucks!
lol in Mordhau playing an archer can be fun and it takes skill to become really good, playing archer is chivalry 2 is just lame and boring, I have no idea why would anyone want to be archer in chivalry, it sucks
Tip i can give for fighting multiple people : when bad players outnumber you they usually get in a false sense of security that you can use. For instance enemy A attacks you, you counter or repost and usually by now enemy B will be coming in with their attack. You use the speed of your counter to direct not at enemy A, but Enemy B and will usually have the initiative on them.
When i was new in chiv 2 to get good is staying in duel server not here for kils but just to conter 💯 of all attack All i did was dueling in a defensive mindset We are pretty similar mindset my friend I got kicked a shit ton but now no kick iget true and i commend onlly ppl who can kill me without useing a kick like jollo , waken, goonz , dvs , dave and more Love u all cya in the next dueling session
i got my KD to around 2.1-2.5 from just playing the game myself. Is that considered good in Chiv2? im only level 80 but im genuinly always top 3 of my team. going off your video, id say im a higher end joe, maybe already a lower end veteran already as I am good at reposing, counter attacking, dragging attacks when outnumbered and gambling with ducks, kicks and shoves.
I would say I m between a veteran and a chad because I use some wierd tactics in battles, like a hit then dodge than dodge again hit- target switch then hit again jumping +other disruptive manuvers and being an unpleasant thing for the enemy , however I always get 3v1 d or many vs1 and I die miserably.😆
Jokes apart, I'm at level 50, bad most of the time, literally shit on 1 vs 1. How long it takes to be just a little bit good at this game? So frustrating
Im lvl 130, recent war axe enthusiast. I still can't get counters down completely though. I usualy get murked on 1v1 and consider myself a bit bellow an average joe. Despite all this I somehow find myself consistntly ranking top 5 in 99% of public lobby matches I play 😂
Im definitely a timmy which is fine cause ive only played it for one day but the game is hella inconsistent. Cant count the amount of times people blocked my hits while having their backs towards me. Having dodge and jump be 1 button is completely messing me up too. Not my type of game i guess which is too bad cause i like the setting and premise.
Crazy I was looking for something like this and I gotta say I had no idea there were turns to this shit lmao im like a lvl 2-3 I can feint parry jab im a decent player but I do be dying to some pc players them mfs move fast asf parrying everything (im a console player) ima have to look into your movement guide. Also love how you were real asf hit me in ma mf chest with this one 😂
I just got the game yesterday and my first game i popped the fuck off (for a new player so like 14 kills) and was suprised when u said 5 kills in one whole match.
I’ve gotten really good at parrying and stabbing, then using specials and quick attacks. The only problem I’m having is keeping stamina balanced because I lose it too quickly. And yes 😂 new players are very VERY easy to spot. There character is not custom designed and they hold block the entire time 😂
Just brought the game today, played for 5hrs and honestly I wouldn't call myself a lvl 0 but probably 1 or so, mostly cause I do burn stamina fast and i get kicked pretty often but nonetheless I am pretty close to lv2 since I got the hang of countering...for the most part
Ah, I'm not as bad as I thought then. Average Joe for me then. Don't really have time or inclination to practice all that much because I'm playing 3 different games atm, so I'll just be comfortable here then.
you forgot Chad++ dudes like me who have 6k+ hrs in mordhau and 5-8k in chiv xD knowing the precise time differences between each and every weapon for squeezing initiative out of accels or regularly taking down 1v6's target switching getting between 30-50 kills a match with only 1 or 2 deaths

this video alone deserves a subscribe and a like. such a simple guide but eficient, elegance in simplicity.
Shit/Joe here (Based on the day). This is a great, short, perfect explanation of what's going on. The only thing I would add (which is quickly found by playing) is each weapon animation/speed
Cannot wait to be chad..... 😢
Thank you Stridah!!!
❤️ appreciate it my man!
I am at the inbetween point for level 2 and level 3. Closer to level 3 because I'm getting to where I counter stabs and overheads too.
Keep practicing mate!
@StridahsAngels That practice came in handy the other day because I pub stomped a lobby for the first time and went on a 33 killstreak before I died. Of course, the lobby was full of average Joe's and shitters, but still!
Literally was listening to this while playing. Thx
No prob!
@StridahsAngels I'm like level 75 and went into a duel yard for the first time. Got completely annihilatied.
Straight up best C2 advice on YT 👍🏼
Oh I'm a Timmy for sure. Just started playing a few days ago and the only way I can get kills is by stabbing people in the back who are already being 3v1'd lmao. As soon as I get singled out I am as good as dead. Thank you for this video. Gonna focus on just practicing counters for a bit!
❤️ I got a laugh at this keep practicing!
Epic video, ty. I'm between an average joe, and a veteran. LVL 600
Do you think knights and what not shit on archers back in the day like we do now?
Definitely
I'll be a chad soon enough 😂 great video and love the tier names
Keep training! Ty mate ❤️
You’ve missed some stuff for the chads us chads will also do over head drags while looking away from the player as soon as that swing comes down we connect it by looking at the player as soon as it’s ready to swing down
Just started the game 2 days ago hoping I’m more of the level 2 average Joe but the shitter still in me
Can you make an Archer guide next?
Banning you 😂😂
@@StridahsAngels 🤣🤣🤣
lol
@@StridahsAngels before you ban your defence against enemy archers and siege weapons, what the hell is drag and accel and all that shit you said but explained merely half of it

Sometimes i feel like a chad sometimes a feel like an average joe
Im currently a level 200 sitting at veteran. Them counter feints are definitely my weakness
Yeah they take a comfort with the animations
But once the sale ends it becomes this grueling and over the top sweaty game that alters my life experience
i am between level 3 and 4 I suppose still getting the hang of jabs.
Nice explaining champ 💪
I am level 3 still and whit this video i gonne try 4 😁
❤️ appreciate you
Great content, nice breakdown analysis , pretty informative and objective.
I’m somewhere between average joe and veteran, maybe a bit closer to veteran, but I only join lobbies that are full of Chads and Veterans (many of the other commenters) and it makes it easier to get better when you play against people that know what they’re doing, if you mess up you find out quick
Depending where my focus is at, I am anywhere from lvl 1 to lvl 4, but usually a solid 3.
I'm a nostalgic. Former lvl 50+ on chiv 1 who can't learn the new mechanics of chiv2 and hate the hold parry system.
Should I just learn the veteran and chad manoeuvres then?
I think I'm def a pub stomper vet, console is hard sometimes 😢 tech can feel clunky on controller
Maybe this can help all the archers out their become real players 🤣🤣🤣
there is no helping those people
archers are not players they have no skill so they hide behind the crowd. They are non confrontational human beings.
@@StridahsAngels I know lol… it’s funny to give them a false sense of hope sometimes only to then bring them back to reality! Makes them almost as upset when their mom tell them they’re out of pizza rolls and capri suns!🤣 cucks!
@@lgnrome you have delusions
lol in Mordhau playing an archer can be fun and it takes skill to become really good, playing archer is chivalry 2 is just lame and boring, I have no idea why would anyone want to be archer in chivalry, it sucks
Very nice video! Can you make a rainbowdrag tutorial?
I’ll put it on my list ❤️ ty dude
Bro I wish I could get against bots like this. I'd go 1000-0 every game.
Your games are loaded with bot players, if you don’t see them… your one of the bots 😀
goated guide. thanks for this.
No problem!!!
9:46 how to be chad: abuse archers before rushing the enemy line
How do you counter special attack spammers?
Jab or gamble them
Tip i can give for fighting multiple people : when bad players outnumber you they usually get in a false sense of security that you can use. For instance enemy A attacks you, you counter or repost and usually by now enemy B will be coming in with their attack. You use the speed of your counter to direct not at enemy A, but Enemy B and will usually have the initiative on them.
Yup target switching
You can also get them to damage each other, making it all the more easier for you or a teammate to kill them
When i was new in chiv 2 to get good is staying in duel server not here for kils but just to conter 💯 of all attack
All i did was dueling in a defensive mindset
We are pretty similar mindset my friend
I got kicked a shit ton but now no kick iget true and i commend onlly ppl who can kill me without useing a kick like jollo , waken, goonz , dvs , dave and more
Love u all cya in the next dueling session
❤️
i got my KD to around 2.1-2.5 from just playing the game myself.
I am fresh install I am trying to maximise my survival skills I wish to make more than ten kills per round
I love this game. I'm old and just started last night. level 12 and I'm getting smashed. It's a lot of fun.
I’m good with just throwing knives in a duel and then running away
😂😂😂 glad it was helpful my man!
There character is not custom designed and they hold block the entire time 😂
Good video! above chad here on the road to lvl 1k, I confirm you get humbled at the events
❤️ty much mate
Just brought the game today, played for 5hrs and honestly I wouldn't call myself a lvl 0 but probably 1 or so, mostly cause I do burn stamina fast and i get kicked pretty often but nonetheless I am pretty close to lv2 since I got the hang of countering...for the most part
So, rad... I'm currently a timmy... lol... I'm so going to spam this video until I internalize this... I love the realism of the combat...
What public servers do you usually play on?
East
I can be the best player sometimes
But I get so scared of dying I don't really put myself out there
How do you feel better about dying
hej when u say train in lobby where do u mean to train counter slash ? in duwal or ? many people just kill each other their
I'm definitely a timmie lol fun game, need to learn to play forsure, thanks for advice
9:38 why do I get the feeling this had another name
Hahahaha
if you become almost everytime first place on puplic leaderboards but sometimes get fucked by level 1000 monsters, are you then still chad ?
I sometimes smash through 15 enemies at once on a bridge and sometimes die immediately 5x;
Ah, I'm not as bad as I thought then. Average Joe for me then. Don't really have time or inclination to practice all that much because I'm playing 3 different games atm, so I'll just be comfortable here then.
❤️ cheers joe
How did you faint and then strike with the same opposite attack?
Are you on controller? I just recently learned this technique myself so I can tell you, but not sure about m+k
you forgot Chad++ dudes like me who have 6k+ hrs in mordhau and 5-8k in chiv xD knowing the precise time differences between each and every weapon for squeezing initiative out of accels or regularly taking down 1v6's target switching getting between 30-50 kills a match with only 1 or 2 deaths
