Such excellent, highly detailed, and well presented material.
Ta, glad you like!
The second time i am listening to the whole of this masterpiece. My unending thankfullness and indebtedness are forever posessed by the author. Came for the Napoléon pod, yet found myself more and more endeared to the topic of the Revolution, and, ultimately, this great man, who made the immense effort of creating this treasure of a podcast. I am unable to comprehend - and saddened by - how is this not watched by millions, yet, in a sense, my selfishness finds great rejoyce in the fact that I am part of an exclusive few who were able to enjoy this. Thank you forever a thousandfolds!
High praise, thank you very much! I'm always happy to hear from people like you who have enjoyed, I'll keep going as long as people get something out of it
You make all these stories utterly interesting and felt so personal as though they were happening to people we knew, or as all this happened right in front of our eyes. This is a great talent of yours! Please carry on with your valuable work and know that there are people who appreciate listening to it beyond measure!
What he said 😂
I just had my unit 3 aos 1 SAC on this topic today. Wish i saw this video earlier, the way you word everything is perfect. Will be using you to boost my atar in the future. Cheers
Freaky timing, glad it was helpful.
And a fellow Aussie I see, you've ATARs, back in my day it was an OP for grade 12 graduation (in QLD). Good luck with it all!
Great series the best french revolution media i have seen, But what about the one guy that didnt sign the tennis court oath was he just trolling or did he have a change of heart or something?
Glad you like! Honestly, can't remember who the nay vote was, but I can say he was clearly very resistant to peer pressure
The closing few minutes are why I support direct democracy.
Do you think the crowns fate was sealed by this point?
Yes. No reforms are going to be sufficiently transformative to fix the economy, not will they go far enough to satisfy our budding revolutionaries
"Dysfunctional and out of touch"
France in a nutshell.
