Your video on the MacFarlane Batwing was the first of yours I saw, thanks for the warning. The Batmobile looks much better after the paintjob.
“Satin” finish might be what you’re looking for. Matte but still shiny. This looks incredible though!
Every custom paint for it are in matt black, and it is not matt black in the 89 movie, it's satin
Indeed. That looks magnificent now! Great job!
Man, i want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. After your video i taped my batmobile and i paint it and its looks waaaaaay better all black. Thanks again!!!
Don't change a thing OG. These are the type of videos that you need when looking at a tutorial.
Very nice. Still prepping mine for paint. Hoping to post a video soon as well. A cheap tip that I think would work for temporary head/taillights is colored reflector tape.
Also, I think I seen the video you’re talking about 😂. If it’s the same one, I liked all the lights he added, but yeah just spraying clear matte finish without painting the whole car & canopy black first won’t really solve the discoloration problem.
Came out awesome!! You can probably use sandpaper to smoothen and fix the hatch then repaint. Great work nonetheless!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Great channel & video💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 This is my favorite Batmobile to do Stop Motion with 🎬📸🎞️🤩
It turned out perfect! the black matte gives a metal effect.
I’m like hold on that’s Floss I knew I wasn’t tripping when I heard the major gos and pluck it and file it. Dope review
Lol it’s a military term. I believe he’s former Marine, and I’m active Navy.
When you hear me say Hooya, that’s the Navy’s version of when he says “Rah”
Oh that makes sense now
Think in the film it is grey ,,but i much prefer this !
Are you going to touch up the spot you made a mistake on? Could you have taken it apart to spray it piece by piece? Nice work looks 100 times better!
Great video, i was trying to figure out how to get started on my paint job for the Batmobile. This helped me generate some options.
i dit it just the way he said it and the result is AMAZING
Second one coming,I can’t even get 1!
Yep, just mask some areas with tape and hit it with a black spray paint.
Great video. I’m probably leaving mine as is because I probably would mess it up (not a customizer). But thanks for showing what paint you used. It looks good.
I'm finished this year in the military myself,21 years in July, engineers.. never had a discount in GameStop but this is Ireland.Iv decided to grow a set of ball's and spray this, It looks way better and alot less cheap
has the paint chipped yet? Just curious
Any suggestions on paint or reflective tape for the light?
Before painting you still want to prep the plastic. Wash it with dish soap to remove any grease or mold release agent to prevent any reaction with the paint. After that you can spay paint. Even a light pass with alcohol to remove grease or dirt before painting. Glad you liked how yours came out but there is a reason why you may want to apply a primer before going straight to paint, even if it's just a toy.
Thank you for that advice
Looks awesome dude. When you spray paint, do you hold the can away from the car and then move into it? Is that how you avoid blotches and stuff?
Never start painting pointing at the object. Paint going side to side starting away from object and then finishing away from the object. This will prevent any paint pooling. From about 6" away. Light coats. Never heavy coats. Spray paint dries pretty quick so it's not an all day thing. Spay light coat. Wait 15 minutes. Then another coat. Do this a few times until it's fully covered.
The cause of the cover. Wasn’t your painting. It’s called fisheye . Usually do to oils and contaminants. U can sand it smooth with 1000 sandpaper and water. Then respray it nice and slow and should be good. Doesn’t matter how much paint you put, if the finish is satin it will alway dry satin. If the finish it Matt it’ll always dry Matt. Gloss will always dry gloss.
Much appreciated for the advice. 🙏🏿

This how I know he a noob, man got gold emblems on the rims that are supposed to be silver for BM pt1 and talkin bout selling Aquaman for $5 but calling the wet cheetos suit “far superior”. Yea man sipping that kool aid HARD 😂😂😂😂
Still gotta do mine
All i hear is do this this real quick, no its no clickbait etc etc. While the paint job which this video is about starts at 6:00 min in the video 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
Thank you for the feedback. I went in and edit it so that if people don’t want to see the review, they can skip straight to the painting process.
You should retitle this the 10 minute cope session where the batmobile stops being $60 when you have to spend money on paint and waste time painting something. I guarantee that paint job will chip off
