      I know what you mean. Someone could run a world record and he’d treat it as an everyday event and show zero excitement.

      @@raybrown10001 Yes, and he's been announcing for SO LONG. About 50% of the excitement of watching a race (longer than a dash) is the EXCITEMENT OF THE ANNOUNCERS. The British announcers are great at this. Running in itself is not "exciting," it's the REACTION to the running (and competition) which makes track exciting.

    It is SOOOO nice to watch a track meet that doesn't have girls in it. It such a pain in the ass to have to skip past the girls.
