There was a statement for New 52 Superman essentially saying that if he went all out he would be able to destroy the Phantom Zone. That's probably a huge outlier for him though and it's not something he ever actually did.

Dr. Manhattan is quite easily one of the most powerful beings in recent DC history. Lex Luthor outright stated that Dr. Manhattan is the most powerful being he has ever encountered, that statement including the likes of the Batman who Laughs, who was capable of defeating the Spectre and kidnapping the Overmonitor, Mobius the Anti-Monitor who he fought as the new God of Apokolips(though to be fair, Mobius was not wielding the Anti-Life Equation at the time) and the countless times he met and battled Superman. Definitely a force to be reckoned with.

No Superman fans actually manages to see something that you people did not, both prime and mixy were on/in the source wall, the wall that has trapped and killed millions of gods, yet the so called "weakened mxy" or "powerless mxy" was able to move around the source wall no problem, meaning that he was still as powerful or more powerful than the source wall itself. Also don't forget the fact that prime broke into the fifth dimension to kidnap mxy, that feat itself should make prime fifth dimensional

In this situation, MXY had given his powers away and even then super boy couldn't actually do anything meaningful to him any with MXY basically explaining that he had just been messing with super-boy the whole time and that he was the ultimate trickster god and that was his whole deal in the first place. At the end of the scene, we do see the MXY still seem to be scared of super-boy implying that super-boy could be powerful in the scene but even though he doesn't scale to a full power MXY. So there you have it.

An important reference was missing. Alan Moore, in "Superman: Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?" (1986), reveals that Mxy was, in fact, an evil being, Superman's greatest enemy all the time.
That is not what happened in that storyline and it's an elsewhere story unrelated to the main Mxy that I didn't mention because Mxy had no feats in it. Mxy basically explained in "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow" that as an immortal being he gets bored eventually. First he just did absolutely nothing for years, then he was absolutely good for 2000 years, then he was a trickster for 2000 years and then he finally reveals to us that he's now going to be absolutely evil for 2000 years and maybe he'll feel guilty for 2000 years after that. He's not truly "an evil being" it was just a phase for him like all the others. Superman then uses the phantom zone projector at the exact moment that Mxy tries to return to the phantom zone and it kills him. Superman then removes his own powers using the gold kryptonite with the reveal being that there was no "greatest villain" everyone thought Superman died because he took his own powers away and went on to live a secret normal life with Lois.
The problem with Warhammer and 40k is that it is incredibly vague and cryptic in it wording for proper power scaling and also inconsistent a lot of the time. Like the famous scene when Emperor is being chocked to death by an Ork warboss at the Battle of Gorro and needed Horus to save him, even tough the Emperor should be magnitudes past that. Or when a Primarch captured a las cannon blast in his hand and crushed it like it was a solid object. Or how the Avatar's of Khaine who is supposed to be a fragment of a lesser Chaos God given a pseud- mechcnical form and gets punched to death by Calgar or choked by Fulgrim (yes the chocking meme is real in 40k.) Especially the Chaos gods, at one source they are afraid of the Emperor, in another they consider him their equal, another they consider him just a minor distraction from their Great Game. Like one source portray them that the chaos Gods need sentient life in the Galaxy to sustain themselves but another claims that they are truly infinite and immortal and use 99.9999999999999-something-% of their power to fight each other in the warp in every dimension that exists, existed and will exist and only an infinitely infinitely small fraction of their power is used to influence the Milky way galaxy. Or how Slaneesh already existed before he was even born because times-space BS. Like earlier Games Workshop suggested that WHFantasy and WH40k are connected through the warp but then they retconned that and said that they are no connected, but then they made Age of Sigmar which had suggestions that they are connected again now they are rebooting Warhammer Fantasy again which brings up more questions again. At this point frankly nobody really knows for sure. Sadly 40k lore is just all over the place to make sense out of it, that is why the famous quote from Games Workshop created when asked about canon "Everything is canon, not everything is true." Meaning no matter what source you look at novels, codexes or video games nobody can be certain that it is true, it could be just imperial propaganda or the praise of chaos worshipers or the words of gibbering madmen or legends of glorified heroism told to to inspire soldiers.
I love the fact that Mxyzptlk is one of the most powerful characters in DC comics but rather than be yet another Crisis villain or be relegated to Vertigo canon he just uses it to mess with people. He's just a little goon with the powers of a god

I wish they had keep the cartoony Mxy instead of redesigning him to make him look like a tiny realistic man. The different artstyle really makes him look like a being from a different reality.
You left out his recent appearance in Doomsday clock (possibly a tie in) where there was an imposter posin g as Clark Kent who turned out to be the imp hiding from a being even he considered a treat... The other being his final appearance in the silver age , the classic Whatever Happened to the Man of Tommorow written by Alan Moore and drawn by Curt Swan. A unique take on the character and one of the only times he was truly defeated.
I am aware of both of these (I read every Mxy appearance for this video). This first is not a tie in to Doomsday clock it went across several of the Superman comic lines and he does reference Manhattan. I didn't bring up any of them because Mxy doesn't really have any feats in each of them and the What happened to the man of tomorrow stuff is elsewhere too so it doesn't apply to the mainline Mxy and there wasn't enough to talk about for it otherwise. He actually does stuff in the other elsewhere stories I mentioned so.

It wasn't really a ret-con but it was basically later elaborated that the 5th dimension is imagination and it's own realm and not a 5th spatial dimension.

In the Superman Reborn comic Mxy seems to be aware of every version of himself along with superman, including the one from the animated series, the leggo series, and so on. I'm pretty sure it was GOLD Kryptonite that would remove Superman's powers permanently. Red Kryptonite's quirk is that it has a different effect every time Superman encounters it.

@@tezmard3003 Mr Mxy's true form was that of a terrible monster. He just wanted to look like a silly pixie to see if he would like it.
That is not what happened in that storyline and it's an elsewhere story unrelated to the main Mxy that I didn't mention because Mxy had no feats in it.
Mxy basically explained in "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow" that as an immortal being he gets bored eventually. First he just did absolutely nothing for years, then he was absolutely good for 2000 years, then he was a trickster for 2000 years and then he finally reveals to us that he's now going to be absolutely evil for 2000 years and maybe he'll feel guilty for 2000 years after that. He's not truly "an evil being" it was just a phase for him like all the others.
Superman then uses the phantom zone projector at the exact moment that Mxy tries to return to the phantom zone and it kills him. Superman then removes his own powers using the gold kryptonite with the reveal being that there was no "greatest villain" everyone thought Superman died because he took his own powers away and went on to live a secret normal life with Lois.

The problem with Warhammer and 40k is that it is incredibly vague and cryptic in it wording for proper power scaling and also inconsistent a lot of the time.
Like the famous scene when Emperor is being chocked to death by an Ork warboss at the Battle of Gorro and needed Horus to save him, even tough the Emperor should be magnitudes past that. Or when a Primarch captured a las cannon blast in his hand and crushed it like it was a solid object. Or how the Avatar's of Khaine who is supposed to be a fragment of a lesser Chaos God given a pseud- mechcnical form and gets punched to death by Calgar or choked by Fulgrim (yes the chocking meme is real in 40k.)
Especially the Chaos gods, at one source they are afraid of the Emperor, in another they consider him their equal, another they consider him just a minor distraction from their Great Game. Like one source portray them that the chaos Gods need sentient life in the Galaxy to sustain themselves but another claims that they are truly infinite and immortal and use 99.9999999999999-something-% of their power to fight each other in the warp in every dimension that exists, existed and will exist and only an infinitely infinitely small fraction of their power is used to influence the Milky way galaxy. Or how Slaneesh already existed before he was even born because times-space BS.
Like earlier Games Workshop suggested that WHFantasy and WH40k are connected through the warp but then they retconned that and said that they are no connected, but then they made Age of Sigmar which had suggestions that they are connected again now they are rebooting Warhammer Fantasy again which brings up more questions again. At this point frankly nobody really knows for sure.
Sadly 40k lore is just all over the place to make sense out of it, that is why the famous quote from Games Workshop created when asked about canon "Everything is canon, not everything is true." Meaning no matter what source you look at novels, codexes or video games nobody can be certain that it is true, it could be just imperial propaganda or the praise of chaos worshipers or the words of gibbering madmen or legends of glorified heroism told to to inspire soldiers.

I love the fact that Mxyzptlk is one of the most powerful characters in DC comics but rather than be yet another Crisis villain or be relegated to Vertigo canon he just uses it to mess with people. He's just a little goon with the powers of a god

New gods are beyond the concepts of dimensions making them what many communities would call outerversal, the time they observe is a higher order of time called hypertime.

You left out his recent appearance in Doomsday clock (possibly a tie in) where there was an imposter posin g as Clark Kent who turned out to be the imp hiding from a being even he considered a treat... The other being his final appearance in the silver age , the classic Whatever Happened to the Man of Tommorow written by Alan Moore and drawn by Curt Swan. A unique take on the character and one of the only times he was truly defeated.
I am aware of both of these (I read every Mxy appearance for this video). This first is not a tie in to Doomsday clock it went across several of the Superman comic lines and he does reference Manhattan. I didn't bring up any of them because Mxy doesn't really have any feats in each of them and the What happened to the man of tomorrow stuff is elsewhere too so it doesn't apply to the mainline Mxy and there wasn't enough to talk about for it otherwise. He actually does stuff in the other elsewhere stories I mentioned so.

It wasn't really a ret-con but it was basically later elaborated that the 5th dimension is imagination and it's own realm and not a 5th spatial dimension.
