Hi from Mauritius. Last went through Cancun airport 10 years ago. But today I am transiting through Dubai Airport - I believe the world's busiest and largest airport and a city in itself with everything you can imagine.
Dubai looks amazing! I can only imagine how big the airport is there. Tampa International seems quite small to other airports. Cancún airport was fun! Safe travels! 🙂
We did. I was nervous for like 2 days because I thought they forgot to give me the immigration form. I wouldn't mind staying in Mexico, but the cost of a new flight and hotel would have been kind of annoying. We had to joke about it after we knew everything was okay. We actually thought we might not be able to get on the plane. Everyone said they give you a small piece of paper for immigration and don't lose it. We didn't get that paper and was worried we weren't going to be allowed on the plane. They lady at Jet Blue explained the whole thing to us and thought great teachable moment for anyone going to Cancún. Even if you lose that paper she said they would send you to immigration in the airport to get your passport stamped, so it might take a few minutes, but they weren't going to deny you from leaving. I was seriously nervous about this for two days. After everything was okay, we figured let's make a joke about this. You should take a short flight just to see if you like it. Lots of Mexican content coming out this month. 🙂

I'll need to book another trip. I am so nervous about being late for flying I get there 3 hours early regardless haha! Love the little dog store.
Everyone kept saying they give you this small piece of paper. I was freaking out because we did not get one. The lady at the check-in counter explained it all to us. Lol I wasn't sure what to expect when we got there, but it was a lot easier than we thought. If you do lose the paper, just get there early and head to immigration to get your passport stamped.
