Sorry for my "brain-jump" at 7:13 ... I am refering to the Fender Amp's clean Sound.
1.) I like that it remained its beloved character after changing to EL84 tubes
(via Tube Amp Doctor's 6L6 to EL84 Adaptors.)
2.) what I like in this rig (Mystic Edge + Blues DLX), is that on the one hand you got that "american clean". On the other you can have that gritty british clean, or crunch.
3.) It's not only like "just_an_OD-pedal" or an "OVER-Speaker-simulated-preamp thing" in front of your Fender Amp. It almost feels & sounds as if the mystic edge and the Fender Amp together become a new natural sounding combo AMP. And as if this "new" combo amp has got a strong birch housing, an overall (all around) fixed baffel board and Greenbacks or Alnicos installed. Love it.
#Tech-Detail on POWERING:
You should use a stronger Power adaptor when using 2 or more pedals of the valvenergy series (stronger than the AC109, which delivers just 200mA). According to the Vox's manual each of the pedals has a current draw of 95mA.
According to a pedal board tech's rule it is best to take a power source which delivers double the "amount of mili Amperes" of what is in fact needed by the pedals. (or, at least 150%).
As far as I know this rules applies at least to CLASSIC power adaptors (Copper Coil Transformers).
Which means I should have taken a 400mA Power adaptor to power up the two pedals.
Always keep in mind, that many pedals have the same amount of current draw, NO MATTER if they are engaged or in Bypass. Some manuals give detailed information about the current draw while "pedal-active" AND in Bypass.
Until you haven't measured the current draw yourself stick to the data of the manual.

Really nice demo. Thanks for recording open-air without all the typical processed recording production stuff other posters apply. This gives a true real life sound that allows the viewer to see how the pedal really performs.

Thanks. Highly appreciate your feedback!! Yes, it's just about 50% room(open air ;D Stereo-Mikes) and SM57 type close miking. After all: it could have been a little louder... But that's "life". I really like the sound of my "G2 super crunch box" video!!

Worth noting; if you add a 3.5mm cable to the link jacks on these pedals, you get channel switching. Activating one turns off the other.
