man now you have to go back and take a UP through Afton Canyon i was all psyched to see you go by my place along that line..... awesome video glad you found an alternate train
Well it's not so bad when there isn't the heat bubble. The nights cool down more and it takes more time to get to the max temp. Cools off faster when the sun goes down too. I mean it's still hot but it's livable. I downright enjoy it sometimes.
should make a mash up vid of all the scary and/or close call moments! i get so freaked out when you are huddled between a shipping container and the bed of the rail car..
@@rooar2 have you posted on Rumble? It's just a not woke version of youtube that doesn't care if you post train hopping stuff. Rumble doesn't get offended over anything like that. Its worth a try.
I've ridden this twice, they occasionally run empty intermodal wells this route too. Also, Barstow has a 24 hour burrito stand right outside the yard entrance!
Question: The place that you call Earp, CA in your video... Isn't Earp further up the Colorado River from the bridge crossing in Parker, AZ? I think the part at 48:17 is actually the northern part of Big River.
I once met a pretty girl at a bar in Wickenburg. She lived on her father's ranch/farm. We exchanged info and contacted each other occasionally for 2 months, then i lost contact and all i have are memories.
Like always Owen I enjoy your vids. Why the gondola ride? I always hated them because as you showed, they're full of dirty, dangerous debris on their floors and they offer no coverage/hiding abilities. I'm thinking you couldn't find another ride.

One thing I love about your videos is the peace and quiet. No talking! Just the wind, the train sounds and the scenery.
What a wonderful video. Really enjoyed the journey. Thank you!
Thanks!
Love your videos bro. Greetings from the netherlands Rotterdam.. watch them all..🎉🎉
Loved this video, I’m live in central Kentucky n it’s nothing like the southwest n loved seeing it all that was pretty cool.
Stay safe young man and thanks for posting.
your videos are the best for clarity and subject. I love when you video you getting to the train and the surroundings. Great stuff
Great scenery. I enjoy hearing the railroad scanner. Very interesting.
Wonderful video. Thank you!

Not sure what's crazier. Train Hopping or doing it in July through high desert territory.
I've made plenty of trips through the dessert it will reach 110-115 during the day

Even east coast is like 100 everyday till end of August.
I love California and the west. been there a100 times. I'm stuck in Florida with roots way too deep to pull up. thanks for the scenery.
I couldn't do Florida long term. Way too humid and I love dry heat.
We call those weird mound-like things “hills”, or sometimes “mountains”. Something a Florida mad couldn’t comprehend

always a blast riding with Owen..just wish we could get your older videos back..ride safe
It’s a work in progress but unfortunately RUclips deletes them about as fast as I can re upload them

Nice clip. Enjoyed watching
Thanks bro. Very interesting.
Years ago there was a plaque in Wickenburg. It alleges that if you drink from the Hassayampa river you will cease to tell the truth.
OMG. Phoenix to Barstow. East to West over land that God clearly hates.
This man has grit. I could not make that journey.
Great content
thanks for posting!
He’s traveling on FREE!

This is the last days for the 1st street bridge in Barstow next to the Harvey house
It was the last day the new bridge opened today
safe travels 🤙
So beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
nice ride

Teach me your ways.
Oh they deleted my videos. Now I'm Null

Looks Very Dry and Very Hot. Thanks for the video. 👍🙏
Arizona and California dessert will reach 110-115 degree and the 90 at night.
wow man, I bet that was a hot ride, hey what frequency does the California & Arizona Railroad use. I'd like to program that in my Baofeng thanks.
The Mobest yard has change quite a bit since this video was recorded.
You should get a little periscope.
Interesting video, what date was this, looks a few years old?
2018

Essentially this. The train was very short and this was the furthest ride back from the front units.
@@rooar2 Got it. Thanks Owen, :) careful out there.
Why are they all from 6 years ago?
Cause RUclips deleted the originals from my primary channel last year.
Why did it take so long to get to Morristown? It's not about 45 miles.
cuz its a train.
ท่านทำคลิปในแนวนี้ดูแล้วสนุกไปด้วยเลย เหมือนได้ท่องเที่ยวด้วยรถไฟ ไม่ซํ้าแบบใคร ok...😃😃😃😃
When are U going to do some new 2024 videos??? But I do Love your content.
There is more new content coming as I have time to edit it.
Not good to ride in a car that has a load that can shift. You could get caught between the load and the end of the car...
How old are you.
knock it off creep
