Windows Bootable Flash Drive on Linux using WoeUSB (GUI)

- This video demonstrate the process to create Windows bootable flash drive on Linux using WoeUSB tool in GUI mode using following steps:
1. Download Windows ISO file from www.microsoft....
2. Install WoeUSB tool using following commands:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install git p7zip-full python3-pip python3-wxgtk4.0
sudo pip3 install WoeUSB-ng
3. Insert blank Flash Drive
4. Unmount Flash Drive
5. Open WoeUSB GUI tool
6. Flash the flash drive using instructions on WoeUSB tool's GUI interface
The created bootable Flash Drive can be used to install Windows 10 Operating System on any Computer. The bootable Pen Drive can be kept safely for later use. In this video the windows bootable flash drive is created on Ubuntu Linux, whereas the same process can be used to create windows 10 bootable flash drive on other Debian based Linux system.
A Flash Drive of 8 GB or more can be used for the process.

You do need WoeUSB to create a windows bootable usb now cause the size of the iso is now much larger.
This guide was extremely helpful. Reminder to watch this till the complete end before trying it yourself.
Now that I have the bootable usb how do I use that to boot windows into my pc? Every tutorial I look for dosent give a straight answer
@@fbi397 bro once boot into your bios by pressing dedicated key while your system boots...like f10 or f9 in your system...then you should select the boot order from SELECT FROM USB then it will boot from your usb

Bless you, straightforward easy to follow process - all the other methods I've tried irritatingly weren't working because I kept running into a "PPA doesn't support jammy" issue. nearly every one of these other tutorials kept using that PPA extension in terminal for downloading woeusb from git. Not working for me when i try to load the drive with the iso file. Says error: grub-install or grub2-install not found

I was f@cking around to install balena-etcher on kali thinking that it will help me do a windows image, but when I finally start balena-etcher I found that this useless utility can do only Unix based .iso writing (which I can do with Terminal by command: dd bs=4M if=[ISO source] of=[Destination Flash Drive or FILE] status=progress )

Hey after i start my pc go to boot manager select usb drive it says bootdevice not found
error source media is currently mounted unmount the partition then try again
Applications > Disks > YOUR FLASH BELLEK > Unmount

Very helpful, the steps were easy to follow but on rebooting the computer throws "Start PXE over IPv4 " then after a bit boots back into Linux. Wonder what that last step I'm missing is?

You need two for the NFTS filesystem and booter

@@rainsoul2977 if you already have Windows bootable USB then you can boot from the flash drive. You need to press a function or other special key (Del, Esc, F10, F2, etc..) to enter bios as soon as systen is power on. Generally the choice is briefly flashed on screen when the computer powers on.
Enter BIOS/ UEFI setup, turn off secure boot, enable boot from usb option, save settings, restart.
Press some function key again to display boot menu (F9, F12, etc...) to display boot menu, boot from usb, install windows and turn on secure boot again. The function keys are different on different make and model of computers, the required key is generally displayed when system boots.
If still not booting then try "Enable legacy boot" option then try again.
