I struggle with offering hospitality too, but I know it's something I need to work on. My tip would be not to over think it. I have a tendency to become anxious and worry about every detail, but actually my friends don't really care that much about how clean the house is or how much food there is. As long as it's reasonable, the association and a pleasant, stress free atmosphere is what is most important. ❤
@@siany123 I love this! Thank you for sharing your struggle with this as well! I’m truly working on a generous attitude in this area! And I love your tip here! That’s so true, they really don’t care about a perfectly clean home or the perfect food spread! Thank you for sharing!
@@jamipop at the end of the video I talk about this topic. Doing the preparation before and then once the guests arrive focus on them and the experience of just enjoying their company and not to worry about all the details of the event anymore
@ I wondered even if “hosting like Mary” was because Mary focused on the important things as well just in different ways. I was confused and had to ask my husband haha. I’m glad I wasn’t totally wrong! ❤️
@ haha I always used to get that story mixed up and which lady did which! I’ve definitely been a Martha too, but I want to strive to be more like Mary’s hospitality once my guests arrive. Not perfect at this by any means!

Love this! I highly recommend trying hot cacao instead of cocoa-- 2 tbsp of cacao powder, 2 tbsp maple syrup, and two cups of milk!
@@Ra20233 thank you! And yes that’s what we personally usually drink ❤️❤️ I just ran out and grabbed cocoa for the party!!
Many Blessings to you and your family 🙏✝️ Merry Christmas 🎄, thank you for the tips.
@@kimmetcalfe6408 thank you and merry Christmas to y’all as well ❤️❤️
Wouldn’t this be hosting like Martha 🥹
