THANK YOU ELYSE!I KEEP WONDERING WHY THIS SHOULDER IS SOOO HARD!! ITS SOOO FRUSTRATING!!I USED TO BE A MARINE SO THAT MAKES ME A VERY NON-PAIN PERSON! SO I HAVE TO STOP MYSELF OFTEN!!THANK YOU FOR THESE SMART EXERCISES!!
@octoberopal, First of all, thank you so much for your service! Second, I'm sorry this process is so frustrating, but I'm glad that these exercises are helping! Keep going, my friend 😊💪
I did these exercises, and moved my wrist behind my hip for the first time since February 2021! As I’ve continued working on it I’ve been able to get the back of my hand to touch the middle of my back. There’s no finger movement so I can’t grab my pants, but I’m just so excited to finally have my arm behind my back in such a long time
@heatherguill, Oh my gosh!! I'm so excited for you! ❤️ I literally just did a little dance because I'm so happy haha I hope these exercises help you continue to get some more movement! 😊
@@PostStrokeOrg you have no idea how much your videos have changed my life. Thank you. I also appreciate the happy dance ☺️ my happy dance is still a little wobbly lol
@heatherguill, this is why I do what I do. I’m so, so happy you’ve found value here and hope you’ll continue to. And hey! A wobbly happy dance is still a happy dance😁💃☺️
I have a tip that you may want to share with your followers. My new OT gave me one of the stretch bands, and she made it very long and tied a loop in one end. Since I have no hand function I'm able to put my wrist through the loop and grab the stretch band and pull it up over my unaffected shoulder and now I can do that stretch. I was unable to do it before not being able to hold anything. I'm very excited that this is working for me and hope it may work for someone else also.
@@PostStrokeOrg I've miss just 5 days during the month. It's hard to evaluate the results. I don't have a way to measure the before and after. Shoulder isn't my biggest problem. But I guess that I got an improvement on mobility.
Hi there, my wrist is weak, whatever I hold alittle heavy things it bend I can't hold it in the straight position. What can I do. I appreciate if can help me. Thank you
@malligahayavoo, You may find this video I made helpful ruclips.net/video/FYSOPmPyhlo/видео.html I go through some specific wrist strengthening exercises. 😊
@dawnstephens, it may be that you need to lay on your back or on your unaffected side. You can use pillows to position your shoulder (behind your upper arm and support the full length of your arm when laying on your back) to reduce pain. I hope these suggestions help!
