An excellent video on a lovely day. Glad that you found the hidden gem of Bishop's Palace Gardens and Priory Park, gifted to the city by the Duke of Richmond as a war memorial post the Great War. The building with the columns is the Corn Exchange, for many years it was the Grenada cinema. When you are next back, make sure that you rap the columns with your knuckles, they are painted metal. Another gem is Chichester Canal. I hope you will return.
Hiya boys , what a nice day out in chichester , it seems to be very relaxing there and you've had the nicest weather!Thank you for showing us around ,I would love to do a boat tour ...the owls are funny...you are lucky chaps living in this beautiful country we must say....all the best ,greetings from hamburg
I really enjoyed your video- I live and work in Chichester and grew up in Pagham. So it’s fun to see a visitor’s perspective on where I live. I’ve never been on the canal boat trip, so that’s on my to do list. A well produced video 😊
My Daughters uni campus was in Chi, on short breaks I was allowed to stay in her room on campus, has my either stashed under her bed for when I slept over, we had great fun and made precious Mum and Daughter memories, such a beautiful peaceful place
I live in Brighton so it's not far to Chichester and I go every summer to the theatre there. You didn't go that far through the park? There is the small Minerva where they put on plays and the large Festival Theatre which is gorgeous and has a great production of Oliver on at the moment. For anybody who hasn't been and loves the theatre, I wholeheartedly recommend it.
The reason you get that Hogwarts vibe from the cathedrals, if You are intrested, it's bc the ones you visit are mainly Gothic. They are still different from eachother bc they have other periods in them and bc Gothic itself it's like 400 years of buildings. Also Victorians loved the style, probably some cathedrals are neogothic or inspired. Hope that helps, i love art history SO i have a lot of fun watching the places you visit. If the economy gets better in my country i hope to visit the UK
For all of these reasons and more, I absolutely love Chichester - it was a frequent outing destination when I lived in Gosport for a number of years. Priory Park and the Bishop's Gardens are just amazing, as is the route you took into the cathedral. The columned New Look used to be McDonald's by the way, by the former Shippams meat paste factory I saw in the background of the road you took between it and Priory Park. If you're there again, be sure to visit Fishbourne Roman Palace, and the seaside village of Emsworth and maybe Petworth to the north, as it passes through the roadside village of Cocking - which is just next to Didling...! I kid you not!! The A27 is always gridlocked, unfortunately - it's like the M25 with two lanes...
Spent 40+ years travelling to and from West Wittering when kids were young. We had a caravan there and often popped into Chichester on the bus! Happy days👌💕
Chichester is a nice location to explore, the canal is a favourite of mine. The Novium had an exhibit of Star Wars toys and memorabilia during the Spring up to about April which was worth a visit. The traffic in the area is no joke. Everyday during the summer there are massive q's affecting Chichester, Bognor and other local areas, journeys which should take 10-20 mins are now 1-2 hours. So bare that in mind if you are planning a visit. Also West Wittering beach is booking only these days and the car park sells out well in advance (and between £10-14) for the day is quite pricy. There are many more easily accessible beaches in the area, if you don't mind shingle.
Once again I have to thank you for showing me around a city that I have “heard” of and know about but shamefully have never visited and now I NEED to go and see it for myself!! I’ve been to both East & West Wittering and holidayed as a child in Bracklesham Bay, which is bang next door to Chichester - but I seem to have bypassed Chichester….. 😖. It’s only an hour n a bit by car from where I live, so I think a jolly boy’s day trip will have to be on the cards very soon! Lovely video once again and thanks again for showing me places of interest that need “personal investigating”!! 😄
Chichester Cathedral also has a Chagall on display in the cathedral (and yearly nesting peregrines) - and one of the few Cathedrals remaining which are still not charging for entry There is also the opportunity to join a tai chi class in Bishops Palace Gardens
That house you had your eye on looked amazing ❤. I had my eye on the blue ones when you were on the boat. Knowing my luck they wouldnt be houses 😂 actually scrap that i want a beach house 😜
I believe one rides a boat 🚢 but I may be talking balderdash! 'The trees are everywhere' 😂😂😂 - I saw the little so & so move! As ever, an utterly delightful place with 2 utterly delightful dudes - cheers boys, it was most enjoyable!
Another great video guys. I was a little concerned for Josh though, he went the whole video without a baseball cap on, and nearly all, the way through without a backpack. He does have hair😂. Not a Sunday without a vlog from you both. 🤗

Aw thank you!! ☺️
What a beautiful city, I haven’t been to Chichester for years. The boat trip looked so relaxing
Yes, I had a lovely time there. Lots of history too. Arundel Castle is quite near and worth a visit.
Arundel Castle is definitely on our to do list, it looks incredible.

Definitely go it’s beautiful 🤩 thank you for watching
Another great video guys, thanks for this vlog !
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Fantastic video guys! Chichester looked amazing and I loved the beach at the end (looked inviting for a swim).
I love that you put the prices of things in your videos. Also scary at how crazy expensive stuff is these days; since I left the UK in 2004. LOL
I live in Chichester ! This was lovely to see ❤
I really good book is Chichester murders and misdemeanours 😂 really interesting
Great video. I think this was one of my favorite towns you’ve been to on your UK tour. Whatever happened to the girls? I miss Sharon and the gang.
We love it here 😊 they will be making an appearance soon 😊
I really thought I’d been to Chichester before but watching this, I realised I haven’t 😂
Deffo going to visit now :)) boat trip looked lush
😂 your list is getting bigger 😂
@@JJExtra I know lol! 😂
Thanks for the kind words about Bishops Palace Gardens. They are cared for by a head gardener and a small team of volunteers.
They certainly do a great job, it’s absolutely beautiful!
Once again I have to thank you for showing me around a city that I have “heard” of and know about but shamefully have never visited and now I NEED to go and see it for myself!!

As I live in Sussex, I've been to Chichester many, many times. It is indeed a lovely city.
We will definitely be back ☺️
Another great video guys.. I didn't get notification this time you'd dropped a video from RUclips.. checked my settings that are the same.. 😢
It’s annoying that RUclips does that! Hopefully it was a glitch lol
Fab video! Was this filmed on your new camera? ❤
Thank you ☺️ not this one no I believe our next video will be one that’s filmed with the new camera 📷

I've recently been to Worcester and Hereford cathedrals. There is no mandatory fee to enter, though there are plenty of hints about making a donation.
That house you had your eye on looked amazing ❤. I had my eye on the blue ones when you were on the boat. Knowing my luck they wouldnt be houses 😂 actually scrap that i want a beach house 😜
Chichester is so similar to Salisbury (my hometown) it's crazy

Not a Sunday without a vlog from you both. 🤗
Used to walk home down the canal to get home.
I live in East Sussex but never visited Chichester despite my Hammond Tudor ancestors being Aldermen & Mayors there.
That ice coffee, was a right bargain. The real question is, how was it ? Would you go back ?
Jason who is favorite country artist?
Whenever I sing along with "Liberian Girl" I always change it to either "Iberian girl" or "Siberian girl".
There's always room for pizza! lol
True 😂
So nice to see an English town that isn't ruinned by undemocratic mass immigration.
That new look used to be our McDonald’s 🤣
Read Chichester murder and misdemeanours 😂great book !
I Like your Videos. But Josh urgently needs a new, better hairdresser
Whoa only posted 1 minute ago and the first comment 😊
