    I can’t imagine my child being taken from me, it physically hurts to imagine it, I am so happy for him and his family, but what a sad story, he looked just like his bio mom. She never found out what happened to him. A woman kidnapped him-I tell my children that you can’t tell whether someone is good or bad just by appearances, gender, class, cleanliness, whether they are a woman or have children with them, etc. instead of looking at it like someone could be good or bad, they can just be tricky and don’t trust anyone unless they got the password.

      A dead person can’t be charged.
      That would amount to time, resources, and money not well spent.
      I’d be interested in hearing about the kidnapping and adjustment to a new family.

      Yes there’s lots of questions because a 6 year old could’ve articulated that he was kidnapped and be aware that the people that he lived with were not his biological parents. I wonder why he never went to look for his family. He definitely won’t be pressing charges on his adoptive parents for some reason.

      Different times. My stepdad forged his birth certificate to join the military early. We had a running joke in the family about his “military” age or “real” age. That’s one of the last fun things I remember about him before he was killed in a wreck. I took him and Mama out for his birthday and asked him was he 79 or 80. He said he thought he’d just be 80, it was a nice round number. lol! Also, his real birth certificate had the month of his birth wrong and I’m thinking it didn’t even have his name on it. Way back, lots of errors were made. My mother’s bc had her name wrong. The midwife probably didn’t know how to spell her name or misheard it. There weren’t all the checks and balances like there are today. I’ve found all kinds of errors on documents while doing ancestry. Names have been miscopied from one document to the other because someone couldn’t read the original person’s handwriting. I saw where on a death certificate, instead of putting the person’s mother’s maiden name, they (the spouse) put their mother’s last name. In moments of grief we all do not think clearly. I’ve seen lots of incorrect stuff on my grandmother. So way back, lots of room for errors.

So my mom convinced me my Birthday was september 1st and I truly thought it was for a few years of school before she had it changed back to my real birthday. So he is protecting the couple who kidnapped him ? There is no information on them ? He was 6 yrs old. Why didn't he tell a teacher a cop or when he went in the Millatary. Who he really was ? He stayed silent all these years. He knew those people were not his parents. At 6 yrs old you know and would be scared if someone took you from your parents. He had the perfect opportunity to find his real family when he went in the military. Or report it to a teacher who could notify police. To search for missing reports for a kidnapping of him from the west coast. He had a chance to ease his mothers heart and he left her suffering his loss till the day she died. Im glad his brother & living relatives got closer finally. But oh let's not hurt the kidnappers who hurt his mother. And stole her child and his life from her. Really !

    He was obviousy raised in a good home, maybe inherited something and led a wonderful life. If his life would have been bad, he would have run away. Or they told him a lie. Anyway. Nobody can be prosecuted because its word against word. The family adopted him by good will. The other women who kiddnapped him, might have signed his adaption paper as her own child. Maybe this was her business idea at the time. She had a six year old, knew that somebody would pay for adoption so she sold another child and not her own. Victim was the brother and mum, having to live with this their whole lifes. At least brother could depart in the knowledge all is good now. Family complete.

    • @ritadyer9295

      Probably a child adoption ring. The lady probably worked for someone else. The adoptive parents may have been completely innocent and way back then the east coast more than likely wouldn’t have known someone was kidnapped on the west coast.

    • @vy88
      @vy88 Месяц назад

      Yes, maybe the adoptive parents were scammed on adopting a kid that they thought belonged to the kidnapper but if the 6 yo told them that he was taken from his real parents and he doesn’t know the woman who kidnapped him, wonder what they would’ve done with this information or they just kept him. It would still be a crime to know they had a stolen child and did nothing about it. Hoped they at least reported it and made attempts at the time.
