Not an Ao myself but I think it's not good to point at one particular tribe like this.. the original song wasn't an Angami song either.. it's in Thangkul. Then it was composed in Angami.

And also the other way around, the original artist Litsuku Lohe originally released the Chakhesang version ‘zowe keleu eyimi’ first in 2018 and then later released the Tangkhul version in 2022, since he is a Chakhesang from Ukhrul district, Manipur. Also, this Ao cover is quite nice and melodious.
