Today, there are State Govt recognized communities as Non-Naga Minority Indigenous of Nagaland, that includes communities like dimasa kacharis, Nepalese, Kukis, etc..who settled long during British era and pre-statehood at Dists like Peren and the then Dimapur. They mostly inhabits as colony within Village council and few a Govt recognized villages. "Kangleipak" means "Dried up Land". Meitei an amalgamation of various clans and tribes, who were once a hill dweller were the first and oldest tribe to discover and inhabit the present day valley that we see today. But newer nomadic tribes are exploiting loopholes of various impartial hill-valley divisive policies and acts such as minority quota systems, land acts, unethical and obselete customary laws. If not stop now, in coming time, they will usurp all the existing older tribes and deprived them of opportunities and compete for land and resources as they are coming in huge numbers with political motivation in our tiny minority state. The real victims of conflict in neighbouring region who needs humanitarian aid are stuck at border camps whereas terrorists backed well to do are not only enjoying citizenship and exploiting minority quota but are hugely influencing the politics of our region. So my request is to kindly restrain from falling into the hands of wrong propaganda by such people. We shall overcome and build a peaceful and prosperous Manipur for every Manipuri. Kangleipak na yaiphare. Chingleipak na yaiphare.

So many Nagas in the comments lack a deep understanding of their own history, which is concerning because it leaves room for potential distortion of our history. Allow me to highlight some crucial points: There is no distinction between "kaccha" or "pucca" Nagas. Nagas have always been one unified entity, and it is disheartening how various tribes have been compelled to flee from the Naga hills or have been divided during colonial and Indian rule. This is why the aspiration for a greater Nagalim or a united Nagalim is legitimate. Secondly, the Naga political struggle is unparalleled and has been a topic of discussion for many years. It stands as one of the lengthiest political movements globally, and there is no shame in our forefathers and elders yearning for reunification. What we have today are termed as "artificial boundaries" imposed by colonial powers and the Indian government, leading to longstanding tensions in the Northeast region. India is unlikely to address these issues, as they benefit from the discord at our expense. As a woman from the Ao tribe who has delved into Naga history extensively, I urge all Nagas to refrain from discriminating against other tribes based on their geographical location-whether in Myanmar or other Northeastern states. It is not their fault that they reside on the opposite side. Nagas, it is time to awaken! Long live the revolution! Kuknalim!
