Noticed the comment from augie bracero about the longer coaxial cable on their site. It looks like any low loss 50 ohm cable with N connectors would work.
Hi Charles. Thanks for checking out the video and following along. I believe you are correct but I am going to reach out to Hiboost and get there take on it. :) Replying to your email too :)
Hi Augie. Thanks for checking out the video and following along. I saw those longer cables on the site but still think they should include them in the kit LOL Stay safe out there. Safe Travels :)
Would like to see a comparison with some of your fellow truckers with the weboost OTR system you can use any network app to see signal strength also the closer you are to the indoor antenna the better it works with your device..I have the weboost drive OTR and am quite happy with it
Hi Lu. That would be a great comparison. I'd be happy to do it if the opportunity arises. Thanks for checking out the video and following along. Safe Travels
Nice. we had one on the Class A that we sold. We will have to add one to the Volvo. Great video as always Aaron. Your becoming a natural at all this. And of course no video is complete without your four paw helper.
Hey guys. I was really impressed with how well it works. Definitely worth it if you are around spotty signal area. I couldn't do anything without Maggie's supervision, Tina said so LOL Safe Travels
Araron,. Tina is going to knock you out the first time she trips over the antenna wire🤣. We are currently looking at a mimo unit since you can not depend on just one carrier. Then boasting the in bound to the truck and coach. Need wireless internet for everything all the time.
I hear ya Brian that's why my 30 years of marriage training told my brain to put it under the trim piece. Self preservation LOL The mimo antennas work pretty well and some of the time you may not even need the booster, just the mimo. Great idea. Safe Travels :)
Very good install and glad it works. Thank you for sharing and showing how to hook it up. I would love to see you do an update on how it’s doing. Thank you for this video. Glad you had help doing the setup from Road Adventures. Nice job the both of you. Have a great weekend and safe travels.
Good info, thank you...
Thank you Jeff. Thanks for checking out the video and for following along. Safe Travels
