Love the breakdown on the build at the end, but what do you think is the other good mage build that's more early pressure? Like chronos > def into double lifesteal? I usually tend to win pretty quickly
Yeah that’s the other build. Lifesteal changes actually made bancrofts and stuff better I think. You heal less off minions but more off gods and that comes in clutch for a lot of mages. Just sucks that it can still be countered bu anti heal. Those builds definitely get online faster tho
16:34 ngl this is why i love Cthulhu. His 2’s are mega range so he can play safe if need be, but other than that he’s largely melee! He wants to step up, play smart and disruptive; i don’t play in duel yet but he has some options in other modes when it comes to riding the curve of pressure. Then in your ult you can chase down people trying to flee, always fun sniping people in the jungle who think they’re cute and smart and safe, i literally ulted just to pop your grey screen, otherwise you can cover/peel for allies trying to flee with your 2’s through the knockup, i sure do like watching arachne’s ulting to dodge an attack that’s back up in just a second.
If you want to play some fun mages I recommend NuWa with high HP minions build, gotta love those little suckers killing everything. Loved the vid btw 🔥
I totally agree that most of us duel players don’t know what to do in those situations. I for one absolutely love to play melee’s, i love the in your face diving. My first and last time trying to grind duel was late season 9. I would rage and get titled because i found myself in a lot of matches where i dominated hunters, and some mages but i just couldn’t finish the game with them sitting under their structures, and i’d get tilted to the point where i’d make mistakes trying to engage them and lose
Could you explain who you would buy tablet for and why? Is there a situation where you should go tablet or was it just for fun? I ask cause getting tablet feels weird to get unlike book of thoth yet people build it and I don't know why.
I would mostly just get it if your god can stack it well and if you feel like you need it. For example poke mages have a hard time killing really tanky gods so id do it as a poke mage vs a beefy warrior.
Obviously this match favours hercules unless we are speaking about hyper late game, in your opinion what is the minimum rank difference a herc can beat a high grandmaster Merlin, Diamond, Masters?
@@Rick-sanches1 i wasnt saying to go it this game, i was more so talking about for mage builds in general but eithet way, winged blade doesnt make gem of iso useless, its pretty easy to get winged blade proccs down
@@enbyletti winged blade counters gem of iso in the seconds you would need it for a kill if you don't have a slow in ya kit anyways 😉 why would you walk at an enemy with it down if you know they are going to slow you, surely you wait until its up then go for the kill to make sure you aren't going to be slowed.
@@enbyletti I think it's a very god dependent item gem thoth eset where they can keep it stacked up dealing damage and keep you in range it's a good item maybe even Freya as her 2 procs item effects.

Herc went winged blade so gem of iso be usless as he just gets slow immunity.
