my two sisters were in Nakuru mass choir. I remember TAWALA kenya. they would go to Kabarak to sing for Moi then jioni we would wait for them to come with boflo. I remember Hongo and Kibango in Naks lol good old days

Before 8:4:4 introduction in 1985, Kiswahili was not a compulsory subject and teachers were few. The teachers who taught us the pioneer Std. 8 pupils were mostly not trained in the subject and were too groping in the dark.
