Awesome video. It didn't have the "look at me" social media feel. It felt like you took a trip and telling us the story! Thanks for sharing! I wish i were a younger man. My heart belongs in the San Juan Mountains, and I try to get out there every year, but I'm too old and too many health issues to hike like that. Thanks again.

"Jesse, what are you doing over there?" "I don't know!" "The trail is over here!"
    That was classic!

Love the adventure between you and your friends.
Memories that will last a lifetime!
Ny fiancé and myself are heading out at the exact same dates you guys were out there.
Just a little over a week away and we can’t wait man.
If you don’t mind me asking, how down did those down trees on the trail stem for?
Any other tips, pointers, advice would be greatly appreciated!
    Cheers my friend!

The bow down area probably went on for 1-1.5 miles. There were a couple other sections along the way but they were pretty short. It’s a solid uphill climb to get to the basin but not overwhelming so plan on that. I would highly recommend taking the train in if you can. Should be a great trip for you guys enjoy.
