Don’t Give Up | MTG Draft The Road to Mythic

could have been a nice izzet deck. without dragoncaller and khykar. kykhar ruined your mana base (as u see in match 2 is a dead card, match 3 you couldnt play balmore, your main hero in this deck, because you played it), picked dragoncaller too early. it is a maybe playable mostly filler level if u see on a very late pick, when youre already in spells, with a potential of high reward, but the downside is too big, mostly. seemed youre getting trapped by the rares :) if u need them in collection is fine, but if you wanna win drafts, youre better off w a bigfin bouncer as first pick even, then any of the filler or unplayable mythics and rares. also, drakuseth is fine, if u manage to survive until u play it, and then again, if it manage to survive to attack, but its triple red, no place for splashing. also about splashing, can only work, if you have proper fixer. at least one dual and one fetch land. you had to play 2 extra cards here only to spash, one is the treason card (without sacrifice!!) (only for the treasure??), with the pick, without any actual creatures you would wanna attack anyway, since their purpose would be in this context to keep u alive until you get to your payoffs for running the high number of instants and sorceries at all. the other way around is ofc the early agressive izzet, but ud prefer more balmores and more goblin surpises for that. conclusion maybe: youre banned from splash :D if you have already established into 2 colors, and have a weak pack with a half off color dual or fetch land fixer, then after picking that you can pick a card from that color, to play it MAYBE, if you find another fixer. thats a good start maybe. also, you dont have to listen to me ofc, i dont wanna be smart neither, so maybe a bit about myself i just started drafting on arena also with foundations, but watched and read everything i could find about it on yt, on 17lands and in the untapped assistant. i farm and play on 3 free2play accounts, got to platinum twice and once to diamond on two, the third one only to gold i think, but ofc i ran out of gold so now farming again :D (and also probably i learnt the most there). i played magic mostly like what lol 20yrs ago i started w onslaught block goblins on type2 when mirrodin came out (thats what standard was called), then switched to white weenie during and after mirrodin block, then sold and lost most of my cards, and just played some drafts here and there, for the fun only, without even knowing the sets, cards, or mechanics. but one time i remember i got to be second (out of 10 or so?) anyway, drop me a comment, if you want, then we can talk about the tools available, or whatever, i mean id say that you can check my draft decks and replays on my untapped accounts, but probably its not that interesting, so whatever. as long as you guys are having fun, its cool. hope i didnt offend, just whats on my mind, i wrote

Absolutely no offense! We appreciate all of the assistance and guidance even from someone else relatively recently back into the game. That record is absolutely nothing to scoff at and definitely indicates a level of skill. Thank you for all of the advice and as I record more of these I will be trying to keep these picks in mind.
