- NYPD officer Jonathan Diller was posthumously promoted to Detective First Grade, during his funeral on Long Island Saturday, NYPD Police Commissioner Edward Caban announced.
Anyone who listened to his wife’s eulogy and wasn’t moved to tears truly has no heart. RIP Detective Diller.

My uncle had a son that was a Dayton Police officer. My dad was a former volunteer firefighter. . What happened to Mr Diller was horrible. I feel the perpetrator shouldn’t be allowed to breathe . I truly feel sorry what happened to Mr Diller we need more like him he is real & true gentleman. My condolences 💐
