      OK this video makes it look like Sanchez was the worst QB in this game but I saw the game live... Ryan Lindley was wayy wayy worse than Sanchez... Sanchez got picked off because he was throwing the ball in the vacinity of his targets... Lindley was throwing the ball so bad that there was nobody near the ball.

      It's kinda like if you ever watch Super Bowl XX and you know the Bears just crush the Patriots, you might be surprised to see one of the first plays of the game that the Pats D forces a fumble from Walter Payton and recover pretty well into Bears territory. The Pats are excited and galvanized. If they want to pull off this huge upset, this is exactly the start they need...and then like you said, the rest of the game happens.

    Larry Fitzgerald deserves a gold jacket for all of the failure around him that he's had to put up with throughout his career. I've never seen him come off as negative or anything. Truly a class-act and a gentleman, the NFL needs more players like Larry.

      The Cardinals actually did have a strong defense that year, save for a game or two, and they were with the Bears at the top of the league in getting takeaways if I remember correctly.
      The only game after this one that the Cardinals managed to win that year was a game where their defense ran back two pick-6s and also set their offense up at the opponents 5 yard line twice.

      dont know what you're talking about. threw a TD on his very first drive. the next drive he led a 2 play TD and he only had 3 passes dropped out of 14 attempts. THIS was all done in one half. if that's not elite, then idk what is.

    Lindsey looked awful pretty sure he began the season in practice squad and was third string till this game. He wasn't ready for a NFL game and it showed. Sanchez was a big deal not to long before this. Terrible game.

    In the same vein, I remember a match-up between the two Marks at QB, Wilson of the Raiders and Malone of the Steelers in the late 1980's, both at the time being crucified by their fans and local media for underachieving. Can't remember who won the game but perhaps their numbers were better than this Jets/Cardinals nightmare.

    Anyone who watched college football would know Sanchez would be nothing in the NFL. He had so many weapons at USC that made him look like a god when in all reality he was nothing.

    Interesting trivia: Greg McElroy appeared in a grand total of 2 games in his one year NFL career..... Sanchez as of 2018 was a backup for the Redskins and still playing in the NFL.
