Ok, so just as an FYI to those who don’t know who the interviewer is. He is Dominic Monaghan. He played Meriadoc Brandybuck, one of the 4 Hobbits of the fellowship. This is a gag interview with Elijah, where Elijah cannot see the interviewer, but is able to hear him. Dom did this accent so Elijah would not recognize him. Hence why Elijah was laughing so hard about the wigs questions. He thought they were actual questions being asked by an actual interviewer.
This was considered the cutting edge of satellite technology at the time of the interview as well, so there was no way to adjust the tech so he could see Dom on top of that. It was a legit one way satellite video call
