Wow that’s incredible. I volunteer at a Victorian Pumping Station in my home town called Tees Cottage Pumping Station. There is a playlist of videos of it on my channel
Wow. We have safety valves on the boilers at Tees Cottage Pumping Station but we don’t use them as we don’t make enough steam to let them off. We keep the pressure on our boilers at about 75psi on purpose

Sub'd Tee's cottage guy. I volunteer at Claymills and love it there. Will check it out
Ian Lainchbury thanks!

If you generate steam with the boiler, I'd be surprised if you didn't test them at all. The boiler inspector would insist I suspect.
@@ianlainchbury we do test them. A few times a year
Ahhhh... belt driven machinery... better reinforce the garage roof trusses, just got a great idea 🙈
Hahaha! Good thinking Nathan... put that A/C motor to more uses in one hit!
@@ianlainchbury hmmm, need a 14 foot lathe though.... Long roof 😁
Nahhhh, just a longer shaft :) You need to come and look at the workshop at Claymills :) It's marvellous
If that failed I wonder how much of the building would be left...
Not much I would suspect :) The boilers are Lancashire type... 7.5ft in diameter... 28ft long and hold 4000 gallons of water. 5 of em.
