Epic Evening On Pickwick

As a Christian I always feel that God is on my side. Somedays though it just feels like there is a little something extra working in your favor. Maybe it’s a grandfather, great uncle, an old fishing or hunting buddy who has gone on to God’s Country. Each of us i'm sure has someone rooting us on from Heaven.
Back in 2022 I received comment from Stan from Mississippi asking about fishing below Wilson Dam. He talked about the outdoors and how much he loved spending time with his boys fishing and hunting. We developed a friendship via facebook and I poured every detail into trying to give him the best information he needed for a successful trip for him and his boys. Through this we developed a friendship of sorts. He and his boys came and slayed some stripers and smallmouths. Fast forward about 6 months later and Stan suddenly passed away from a heart attack. Him being so close in age to myself struck me a little different with me having 2 boys of my own now. God's Speed Stan! I can't imagine the bite up there sir. Buy those toys! Take that beach trip! Tell your family you love them!
