Love the van layout and thought put into this. Your 3d designer is also very talented, I'm learning SketchUp now for our tiny house and it's been a fantastic tool.
Among the designs I’ve seen, I like that one with pullout closet which is inside the bathroom space and pulled out when the shower is in use. In this design, if a pullout closet is tucked in from the bed side and get pulled out on the bed when the shower is used, it’d be perfect.
HI Joyce, I've also tought out a closet pushed inside a full shower enclosure (I use Blender 3D); I had a hell of a time figuring the optimal width of the closet so it can be pulled out, and rotated at the end of the drawer rail course ... I'm very much interested to see the design they've come up with! But I must say the cleverness of this 3/4 width for the bed is strongly apealing for its simplicity. But oh wait! an then i just could .. naaaah ... oh hell, yes... let's dream it up ;-) :-) Fantastic videos! Keep it up!
For my preferance, other than the sink and small space for stability of a one or too removable cooker, I would put minimal bathroom in the hallway and have whole bed. Overall this is a great layout. For me bathroom to put clothes to dry and wash clothes and myself is much more a priority. I would prefer minimal bathroom and have toilet slide out from underneeth the bed into bathroom to have more space and efficiency to shower). I can even have a flexible table and cook outside. A small automatic washing machine or manual washing machine is also great. I have seen placed in the garage space.
There is plenty of storage under the pull out seat which is plentiful for bedding or clothes. You would struggle to fit a hanging closet in a smaller MWB van like this! Deffo possible in a LWB though!
Yes I like a bathroom in a converted van I’m not really into gym memberships not that they are bad haha but when you live in Australia and travel in very remote places it’s completely different.
Is there a layout for USA where the driver is on the LEFT side? Also, how would the double passenger seat swivel back? What is the bed dimension in your layout? Thanks
Hey Guys. First things first. I hope you're doing great. Safe and sound. My name is Ênio and I'm from Brazil. I've been following your job here, in fact, a significant and amazing job. Kudos! Two quick questions: - What happen with the others videos? - Is it possible (for me) to buy a campervan made by you and submitt it to Brazil? Have a blessed day.
There is storage under the double swivel seat, there is also heaps of storage under the pull out chaise lounge, much more than you would gain from trying to squeeze a wardrobe in somewhere, plus cupboard for smaller items to side of the bed.
Dear Van Life Builds, I'm busy making this exact layout in a transit. I've already purchased the floor plans, they are a great help. Could you please tell me how the pull out couch works. Is it on industrial drawers or wheels?
Hey there! We used wooden sliders across most of the length and covered in carpet so it slides across the floor with ease! Just a simple design :) there is a lock in the garage to stop it moving whilst Van is in use, all best with your build, hope it’s going well!
If one would consider building this design where would one include the battery and water tank to me it seems the logical answer would be under the van and in the small crevice between the outdoor kitchen and bathroom or even under the kitchen but I just wanna hear people's opinions on this matter
@@VanLifeBuilds I find that I never use it, as I only have a bucket and like I said I never use it. There are bathrooms every place. I only have the bucket for emergencies.
It's nice to see different options though, for some people like a single older person this would be plenty of space, would almost consider making bed smaller for more room in the shower...
@@smilypie6927 I'm a single older person and you're correct. This is a great layout for a 144 wheelbase. I need a bathroom. There is no such thing as 'holding it'. When I have to go...I have to go.
Really nice layout. As an older solo traveller I like the bathroom. The bed size is perfect for a solo traveller too.
Great job!
Thanks very much :)

I’ve actually watched the full van tour with great interest. A great van build I may add. It’s actually one of my favorites.
Awesome thank you so much

Very nice design! Layout is simple and efficient, especially the bed with storage below.

Very nice plan. Like the knives hidden away. Never liked possible weapons on display. Very well configured. Lot of thought.

This is an awesome build the only thing missing is hanging closet!.
I thought about the same

spectacular upload Van Life Builds. I broke the thumbs up on your video. Always keep up the fantastic work.

Just wish it were a double decker! That would be awesome 👌
@Omar Williams No, it's possible just saw a similar style rig that was a DD and man o man I wish I had one like it.
@Omar Williams The one I saw drove decent. It wasn't too top heavy if that's what you were wondering.
Awesome n amazing......, love it much! ❤❤❤
Thanks so much for the kind comment

Very cool. I’ve been slowly putting a plan together and this has given me lots of ideas.
Looking forward great 👍 motor home

What is the name of the design program? I liked your channel very much, thank you for your efforts
before buying a floor plan I'd like to know how wide that bed is to see if it is actually able to fit two people
Good video
Thanks for the visit
great layout. what would be the price range for this to be installed in my MWB sprinter?
Hey there, thanks, you can find out more about our pricing strategy on our website: www.vanlifebuilds.com :)
Great conversion layout. What is the width of the bed in this built? Thank you.

I love
Hi, can you tell me please what software was used to do this presentation?
I love it! How much is the cost? Can i have it in Dominican Rep.? The seats infront can been turn to the road view?
Yes it can be turned
Yes they certainly can be turned to use while driving :) you can find out more about our processes on our website www.vanlifebuilds.com
What design programme do you use?
It’s sketch up
As I understand the double passenger seat is fixed. And it’s travelling backwards. Is this legally permitted at all?
What are the equivalent of this van in other car companies??? Like Toyota for instance. Thank you for answering.
I like it but…Where do you put your clothes and shoes in this design?
There is storage under the double swivel seat, there is also heaps of storage under the pull out chaise lounge, much more than you would gain from trying to squeeze a wardrobe in somewhere, plus cupboard for smaller items to side of the bed.
Is there a patent that can be copied and sold?
Any way to get the program so I could set one up myself
Absolutely! Sketch up :)

In our Channel, a mini motorhome on top of the truck bed 🌹
Sounds great!
What is it with van lifers always saying “ I have space for climbing gear” we do all you folk do climbing in the UK 😂😂😂😂
That bed is ridiculous if there is more than one travelling. What is it, 3 feet wide? Otherwise a nice van. Kitchen is perfect for this size of van.
Where do u sit???
As shown in the video, there are double swivel seats, and a pull out lounger seat too.

Forget the bathroom, it makes the bedroom too small.
We think it’s pretty essential for full time Van life :) but know many people with out bathrooms too, very much a personal preference

What size is the bed?? Great layout!
Too much in a small van. At least you can wash a cup in that sink.
Thanks for your input but In person the Van feels pretty spacious, we think it’s a great design :)
